The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Workday HCM development, integrations, APIs, and modern DevOps practices, along with proven experience leading engineering teams.\nThe candidate will collaborate with HR, Payroll, Benefits, IT, Data, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable solutions that support business transformation and operational excellence.\nRoles and Responsibilities\nLead the technical design, development, deployment, and ongoing support of Workday HCM and Payroll solutions.\nArchitect, develop, and maintain integrations using Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Core Connectors, and Workday APIs.\nDesign and implement custom applications using Workday Extend and related Workday development tools.\nDevelop and manage data ingestion pipelines using Workday Prism Analytics for reporting, integrations, and advanced analytics.\nManage Workday integration scheduling, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.\nSupport HR, Payroll, Benefits, and employee self-service business processes.\nLead end-to-end project delivery, including technical design, development, testing, release management, and production support.\nImplement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, code quality standards, and DevOps best practices.\nLead and mentor onshore and offshore engineering teams, architects, and external delivery partners.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure data exchange and seamless integration with enterprise SaaS platforms.\nEnsure compliance with security, privacy, governance, change management, and documentation standards.\nCommunicate project progress, technical risks, dependencies, and delivery status to business and technology stakeholders.\nRequirements\n6+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 3 years leading medium-to-large engineering teams.\n4+ years of hands-on Workday development experience.\nExperience completing at least one full Workday HCM implementation in a senior lead developer capacity.\nStrong hands-on expertise in Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Workday APIs.\nExperience with Workday Extend and/or the Workday Build Ecosystem.\nStrong experience with Workday Prism Analytics and data ingestion pipelines.\nExperience managing Workday integrations, scheduling, monitoring, and troubleshooting.\nKnowledge of Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, and HR data integrations.\nExperience with enterprise SaaS integrations, Agile delivery, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.\nStrong technical leadership, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.\nExperience in media, entertainment, or consumer-facing digital businesses. Preferred Qualifications\nKnowledge of SAP HR and SAP SuccessFactors. Preferred Qualifications\nExperience with API management platforms such as MuleSoft, Apigee, or Kong.
