Embedded Network Support Specialist - Work From Home / Dayshift

We are seeking an Embedded Network Support Specialist to support the administration, quality assurance, and maintenance of embedded network billing systems and smart metering data. The role focuses on ensuring accurate billing, investigating metering and data issues, maintaining customer records, and improving billing processes to support reliable energy network operations

• Monitor smart metering data by reviewing exception reports and investigating missing or substituted data issues.
• Configure and maintain smart meter installations, replacements, and connection records within the billing platform.
• Perform billing cycle reviews and quality assurance checks to ensure accurate and compliant billing.
• Generate and analyse billing, settlement, usage, and exception reports to identify discrepancies and trends.
• Investigate and resolve billing anomalies, escalating complex issues when required.
• Maintain accurate embedded network client records and support new smart meter data connections.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of billing, reporting, and system administration processes.

Requirements

• Previous experience in utility billing, embedded networks, smart metering, energy management, billing administration, or a similar support role is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate billing, metering, and data-related issues.
• High attention to detail when reviewing meter data, billing reports, client records, and exception reports.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis, reporting, and billing validation.
• Experience using billing systems, metering platforms, CRM systems, or other business applications is highly desirable.
• Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage recurring reporting tasks and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
• Proactive and reliable, with the ability to work accurately with detailed data, follow structured processes, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
