The role will interpret construction drawings and tender documentation, identify scope discrepancies, maintain measurement records, and support the Estimating and Pre-Construction teams in delivering accurate and timely tender submissions, preferably for UK construction projects.\nReview and interpret architectural, structural, and construction drawings, specifications, and tender documents.\nComplete accurate quantity take-offs for passive fire protection and firestopping projects, including material and labour requirements.\nPrepare take-off schedules, measurement sheets, material schedules, and quantity reports to support estimating activities.\nAssist Estimators with tender preparation, pricing information, labour allowances, and supporting documentation.\nIdentify drawing discrepancies, omissions, scope gaps, and unclear requirements, raising technical queries where necessary.\nUpdate quantities, schedules, and measurement records based on drawing revisions, addenda, and scope changes.\nCoordinate with Estimating and Pre-Construction teams to validate quantities, meet tender deadlines, and improve measurement accuracy.\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.\nPrevious experience in construction quantity take-offs, estimating support, or a similar construction role.\nStrong ability to interpret architectural, structural, and construction drawings, specifications, and tender documentation.\nExperience calculating material and labour quantities and preparing take-off schedules, measurement sheets, or quantity reports.\nProficiency in digital take-off or estimating software and Microsoft Excel, with strong numerical and analytical skills.\nExcellent attention to detail, organisation, and document management, with the ability to manage multiple assignments and meet tender deadlines.\nExperience with UK construction projects is strongly preferred; passive fire protection, firestopping, specialist subcontracting, and knowledge of UK measurement practices are advantageous.\nBenefits\nWe offer more than just a job - we offer a supportive and rewarding career experience.
