Your first assignment will be with a major Danish public-sector organisation in Copenhagen, where you will help shape solutions across multiple business-critical systems, integrations and delivery partners.\nYour role\nYou will act as a trusted technical adviser to the customer and help ensure that proposed solutions are technically sound, realistic and aligned with the wider system landscape.\nThis is not a purely strategic or documentation-focused architecture role. You must understand the technology in depth, engage directly with developers and contribute actively from clarification and solution design through implementation and operation.\nYour responsibilities will include:\nDesigning scalable solutions based on .NET, microservices, APIs and asynchronous messaging\n\nUnderstanding complex system landscapes, dependencies and technical constraints\n\nDriving technical clarifications across system owners, development teams and external suppliers\n\nAssessing, challenging and improving solution recommendations from delivery partners\n\nDefining clear service boundaries, interfaces, integration patterns and data ownership\n\nEnsuring robust error handling, retries, idempotency and traceability across distributed systems\n\nSupporting developers through technical sparring, design reviews and code-level discussions\n\nContributing to architecture decisions, technical documentation and implementation plans\n\nEnsuring that operations, monitoring, logging, security and maintainability are addressed from the outset\n\nPromoting automated testing, CI/CD and efficient delivery practices\n\nUsing AI-assisted development tools to increase delivery speed without compromising quality, security or correctness\n\nWhat we are looking for\nYou have several years of experience as a Solution Architect, Technical Lead or senior software engineer with significant architectural responsibility. You combine strong technical judgement with the ability to communicate clearly and move complex discussions towards concrete decisions.\nWe expect you to have:\nA strong hands-on background in C# and modern .NET\n\nExperience with microservices, distributed systems and integration-heavy solutions\n\nSolid experience designing and implementing REST APIs\n\nExperience with message-based integration, preferably RabbitMQ or comparable technologies\n\nA practical understanding of retries, dead-letter handling, idempotency, ordering and duplicate messages\n\nExperience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD and automated testing\n\nExperience with logging, monitoring, distributed tracing and operational troubleshooting\n\nThe ability to translate business and technical requirements into workable solution designs\n\nExperience advising customers and communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders\n\nThe confidence to challenge proposed solutions constructively and explain technical trade-offs\n\nExperience coordinating dependencies across teams, systems or external suppliers\n\nA structured and independent approach, with ownership from initial clarification to implementation\n\nPractical experience using AI tools as part of software development\n\nExperience from public-sector or other complex, regulated environments is an advantage.\nPractical requirements\nYou are fluent in Danish, both spoken and written\n\nYou can work full time onsite with the customer in Copenhagen\n\nYou are interested in permanent employment with Twoday\n\nWe are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible\n\nAbout Twoday\nTwoday operates from modern offices across 30 locations in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, and Lithuania.
