As demand for legacy modernisation continues to grow, we're expanding our team and are looking for an experienced Legacy Conversion Consultant to support major application transformation programmes across both public and private sector clients.\nThis is a unique opportunity to combine deep technical expertise with innovative automation technology, helping organisations move away from legacy platforms and embrace modern architectures.\nYou'll work with TXP's proprietary migration tooling to analyse, convert and validate enterprise applications, while helping shape the future of our conversion methodologies and automation capabilities.\nWhat you'll be doing\nAs a Legacy Conversion Consultant, you'll play a key role in delivering complex migration and modernisation projects, including:\nAnalysing and assessing legacy applications, primarily developed in Gen.\nExecuting application migrations using TXP's automated conversion tooling.\nSupporting the migration of applications to: Native COBOL environments (CICS, IMS-DC and DB2)\nModern platforms including Java, Spring Boot, .NET, Angular and cloud technologies\n\nDefining migration approaches for databases, online transactions, batch processing and user interfaces.\nValidating converted applications to ensure quality, performance and functional equivalence.\nCollaborating with architects and technical teams to develop migration strategies and delivery roadmaps.\nSupporting proposals, Statements of Work and technical solution design activities.\nContributing to the continuous improvement of TXP's migration tooling and delivery methodologies.\nWhat we're looking for\nWe're interested in hearing from technology professionals who have experience in application modernisation, migration, conversion or platform transformation projects.\nYou'll bring experience in some of the following:\nCOBOL, CICS, IMS-DC and DB2 environments\nMainframe technologies and tooling including ISPF, SCLM, SPUFI and JCL\nJava, Spring Boot, .NET, Angular or cloud-native technologies\nLegacy application development and support\nApplication migration, re-platforming or modernisation programmes\nAutomation tooling, scripting or development\nCI/CD and DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins or GitHub Actions\nMost importantly, you'll be a strong problem solver who enjoys tackling complex technical challenges and working collaboratively to deliver successful client outcomes.Why Join TXP?\nAt TXP, our people are at the heart of our success.
