Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this key leadership role is responsible for ensuring robust financial controls, accurate reporting, effective cash management and continuous process improvement to support business growth. With a strong focus on operational finance, the successful candidate will drive efficiency, scalability and the successful integration of acquired businesses into TXP’s finance processes and systems, maintaining high standards of control and data integrity.\nAs a confident communicator, you will build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, providing valuable insight into financial and operational performance while influencing informed commercial decisions that deliver improved business outcomes.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead the month-end close process across all Group entities, ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of management accounts and reporting outputs.\nOwn the integrity of the General Ledger and Record-to-Report (R2R) process, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded, reviewed and reported.\nReview and approve accruals, prepayments, journals and balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring robust financial control and audit-ready records.\nMaintain strong balance sheet governance, ensuring reconciliations are fully evidenced, reviewed and resolved in a timely manner.\nEnsure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, financial policies and reporting deadlines.\nOwn VAT reporting and support all statutory compliance requirements across the Group.\nSupport the Group Financial Controller with group reporting, financial analysis and operational finance activities.\nSkill and Experience\nFully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).\nMinimum three years' experience leading and managing finance teams.\nProven experience owning and managing end-to-end finance operations within a multi-entity organisation.\nStrong working knowledge of core finance processes including:\nAdvanced Excel skills.\nExperience using financial systems and ERP platforms.\nStrong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to communicate confidently with senior leaders.\nExperience identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, controls and operational performance.\nSage Intacct experience.\nInTime experience.\nAcquisition integration experience.\nExposure to Microsoft Copilot, AI-enabled productivity tools, automation agents or workflow automation solutions.\nExperience with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Power Query and Power Automate.\nExperience within technology consulting, professional services or private equity-backed businesses.\nEducation\nRecognised professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).\nAlternatively, significant senior-level operational finance experience with a demonstrable track record of financial control, reporting and team leadership.\nCommitment to ongoing professional development and keeping current with finance, compliance, systems and operational best practice.\nBenefits:\n25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays)\nAn additional day of paid leave for your birthday (or Christmas eve)\n4% Matched employer contributed pension (salary sacrifice)\nLife assurance (3x)\nPrivate medical insurance through our partner Vitality. \nAccess to an Employee Assistance Programme & other Health Benefits through our partner Medicash\nOctopus EV Scheme (salary sacrifice)\nCycle to work scheme\nCorporate eye-care vouchers\n2 x social value days per year to give back to local communities.\nGrow with us:\nWork on exciting new projects\nIf you want to avoid getting stuck with the mundane, you’re in the right place.
