Our engagements are typically delivered following an Agile approach blended with key project management practices to ensure outcomes are delivered on time, on budget, and to the expected quality.\nThe Principal Delivery Lead is a senior leadership role accountable for the successful delivery, commercial performance, and strategic growth of a portfolio of client engagements. The role combines executive-level client relationship management, delivery leadership, business development, and people leadership to ensure exceptional client outcomes and sustained business growth.\nAs a trusted advisor, the Principal Delivery Lead operates at Board, Executive, and CXO level, helping clients deliver complex business and technology transformation whilst embedding delivery excellence across the organisation\nThis hybrid role will involve some regular travel to meet with clients and to our Birmingham or London offices\nKey Responsibilities:\nLead the successful delivery of a portfolio of technology and transformation programmes.\nDevelop trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, acting as a strategic advisor and escalation point.\nShape delivery roadmaps and transformation strategies that drive measurable business value.\nEnsure projects and programmes are delivered on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards.\nOversee financial performance, including forecasting, profitability, resource planning, and commercial governance.\nIdentify, manage, and mitigate delivery risks across client engagements.\nSupport business development activities, including account growth, contract discussions, and identification of new opportunities.\nLead, coach, and mentor Delivery Leads, Project Managers, and Programme Managers.\nDrive consistent delivery governance, quality assurance, and continuous improvement across the portfolio.\nPromote a high-performance culture focused on collaboration, accountability, and client success.\nSkills & Experience:\nSignificant experience leading large-scale technology, digital, and business transformation programmes.\nProven track record managing strategic client accounts and complex delivery portfolios.\nExperience operating within consulting, professional services, or client-facing delivery environments.\nStrong stakeholder management skills, including engagement with senior executives and C-suite leaders.\nCommercially astute, with experience managing budgets, forecasting, contracts, and profitability.\nExperience supporting account growth, business development, and client expansion opportunities.\nStrong leadership capability with a demonstrated ability to develop high-performing teams.\nExcellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.\nStrong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and software delivery lifecycles.\nExperience using delivery and project management tools, including Azure DevOps or similar platforms.\nBenefits:\n25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays) • Holiday buy and sell scheme (up to an additional 5 days per annum)\nAn additional day of paid leave for your birthday (or Christmas eve)\n4% Matched employer contributed pension (salary sacrifice)\nLife assurance (3x)\nPrivate medical insurance through our partner Vitality.\nAccess to an Employee Assistance Programme & other Health Benefits through our partner Medicash\nOctopus EV Scheme (salary sacrifice)\nCycle to work scheme\nCorporate eye-care vouchers\n2 x social value days per year to give back to local communities.\nGrow with us:\nWork on exciting new projects\nIf you want to avoid getting stuck with the mundane, you’re in the right place.
