Your focus will be on quality engineering, not just testing.\nKey responsibilities include:\nDesigning and building test automation solutions from scratch\nLeading and supporting testing across automation, performance, security, and non-functional areas\nPerforming detailed test analysis and test design for complex, highly integrated systems, including regulated environments\nApplying TDD, BDD, and risk-based testing approaches\nSupporting CI/CD pipelines and championing shift-left quality practices\nDelivering testing and assurance across all levels: Unit, Component, CIT\nSystem, Integration, End-to-End\nNon-Functional Testing\nSupporting UAT and BAT\n\nAnalysing business requirements and defining effective testing strategies\nManaging test data, test artefacts, and testing collateral\nCollaborating closely with developers, including pair programming\nCoaching and mentoring less experienced testers and quality engineers\nWorking in line with TXP’s technical, service, and quality standards\nWhat we’re looking for\nYou’ll be an experienced quality professional who is comfortable operating at senior level while remaining hands-on and delivery-focused.\nExperience we value:\nLeading and embedding testing best practice across delivery teams\nDefining testing policies, standards, and guidelines at enterprise scale\nStrong experience building and maintaining automated test frameworks\nDelivery within iterative/agile environments\nWorking with Continuous Integration and CI/CD pipelines\nManaging priorities to meet delivery deadlines\nTechnical skills:\nStrong software testing and quality engineering expertise\nCI/CD pipelines\nGit / GitLab\nExcellent communication and coaching skills\nStakeholder engagement and collaboration\nExperience with some of the following is highly desirable:\nJUnit, Playwright, Selenium, Cucumber\nPostman, Gatling, OWASP ZAP\nDocker / Kubernetes\nAzure and/or AWS\nAccessibility standards and tooling (WCAG, Wave, Axe)\nAbout you\nPassionate about quality and engineering excellence\nComfortable working independently and as part of a team\nHighly organised with strong attention to detail\nConfident juggling multiple priorities\nPositive, driven, and pragmatic in your approach\nOpen to travelling to customer sites when required to engage and present\nWhy join TXP?\nAt TXP, quality is not an afterthought, it’s built in.
