A key part of the work will be designing, building and deploying Salesforce Agentforce agents that support real business processes.\nThe client runs two Salesforce orgs covering Sales Cloud and FinancialForce (Certinia), with finance processes spanning the sales ledger and general ledger. The contact centre also uses Service Cloud, which is largely supported by an external development partner.\nYou’ll be one of the key Salesforce technical specialists in a small internal team. You’ll write and review code, work directly with business stakeholders, and have the autonomy to challenge requirements and recommend how to deliver them.\nWHAT WILL YOU BE DOING:\nAs part of an agile software development team, you will:\nDesign, build, test and deploy Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL and Salesforce APIs.\nLead hands-on Agentforce development, from identifying suitable use cases and configuring agents through to testing and deployment.\nEnhance Sales Cloud and build or maintain integrations across Salesforce, FinancialForce and other enterprise systems.\nWork with stakeholders to understand the business problem and decide when to use Apex, Salesforce Flow or other native platform capabilities.\nReview the existing estate and identify improvements to performance, scalability and maintainability.\nMaintain good standards for testing, security, source control, deployment and technical documentation.\nCollaborate with internal Salesforce colleagues and external development partners.\nWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:\nStrong commercial experience as a Salesforce Developer, with the ability to take ownership of development work in a small team.\nHands-on experience building solutions with Apex and LWC, plus solid knowledge of SOQL, Salesforce APIs and integration patterns.\nStrong Sales Cloud experience and experience working in complex or multi-org Salesforce environments.\nPractical experience designing and implementing integrations between Salesforce and other systems.\nA strong understanding of Salesforce security, data modelling and automation, including Salesforce Flow.\nExperience with modern Salesforce development and deployment practices, including Salesforce DX, Git and CI/CD.\nA degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills in English\nYOUR AGENTFORCE EXPERIENCE:\nHands-on Agentforce implementation is essential. We’re looking for someone who has personally designed, built and implemented Salesforce Agentforce agents for real business use cases, ideally through to production.\nYou should be able to walk us through an agent you helped deliver, explain what you personally built, and describe how you tested and deployed it.
