This hands-on position is responsible for building scalable test automation, validating complex financial technology integrations, and embedding quality throughout the software development lifecycle.\n\nThe successful candidate brings strong FinTech experience, knowledge of bank and credit union core systems, and a practical understanding of APIs, digital banking platforms, and payment technologies. This person is a resourceful problem solver who thrives in a fast-moving startup environment, works independently, and uses automation and AI-enabled tools to improve speed, coverage, and effectiveness. They will work not only with engineering teams but also with Implementation and Sales to provide technical integration support to new and existing customer pipelines.\n\nThis is a remote, US-based position.\n\nKey ResponsibilitiesQuality Engineering\n\nDevelop and execute comprehensive test strategies for web applications, APIs, integrations, and data workflows\n\nCreate, maintain, and expand automated test suites covering functional, regression, integration, database, and end-to-end testing\n\nValidate software across multiple client configurations, environments, and integration partners\n\nInvestigate defects, document findings clearly, and collaborate with Engineering and Product to drive timely resolution\n\nDesign and maintain scalable automation frameworks that improve test coverage and accelerate release cycles\n\nSupport release-readiness activities, including regression testing, production validation, and Go or No-Go recommendations\n\nUse AI-assisted development and testing tools to improve test creation, defect analysis, documentation, and troubleshooting\n\nMaintain existing systems while supporting growth and technical advancements\n\nFinTech & Core System Validation\n\nTest integrations with bank and credit union core processing systems, digital banking platforms, card providers, and third-party services\n\nConfirm that integrations meet functional, security, compliance, and client-specific requirements\n\nSupport implementation teams in diagnosing configuration, data, and integration issues\n\nHelp with Technical Integrations by reviewing specs, tracking capabilities, and working externally to improve communication and reduce churn\n\nStartup Collaboration\n\nOperate effectively in an environment where priorities evolve and team members take broad ownership\n\nWork independently, identify gaps, and drive issues through resolution without requiring extensive direction\n\nCollaborate closely with Engineering, Product, Implementation, Client Success, and Compliance\n\nBalance release speed with product quality, security, and customer impact\n\nContribute to a culture of accountability, curiosity, continuous improvement, and shared ownership of quality\n\nMinimum Required Skills and Qualifications\n12 or more years of technical integrations and quality engineering experience\n\nExperience testing SaaS and FinTech products in complex, integration-heavy environments\n\nDirect experience working with banks, credit unions, and financial-services technology providers\n\nWorking knowledge of bank or credit union core processing systems and digital banking ecosystems\n\nStrong SQL knowledge and experience with database validation testing\n\nExperience using AI-assisted engineering or testing tools to improve productivity and quality\n\nPrevious startup and growth-stage company experience\n\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills\n\nDesired Skills\nExperience in FinTech with strong experience working with digital banking and core technologies\n\nKnowledge of accessibility, security, and performance-testing practices\n\nExperience helping a growing organization establish automation standards and mature its QA processes\n\nWillingness to wear multiple hats, help where needed, and act as an exceptional problem solver\n\nMeasures of Success\nIncreased automated-test coverage across critical customer and transaction workflows\n\nImproved release quality with fewer production defects\n\nFaster, more predictable regression and release-validation cycles\n\nImproved communication across business and technical teams\n\nBenefits\nCompetitive salary and bonus structure\n\nComprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and 401(k)\n\nDynamic work environment with passionate, driven colleagues\n\nOpportunity to shape the future of youth banking.\n\nAbout Nuuvia\nNuuvia, a Tyfone group subsidiary, is the leading provider of intelligent lifecycle banking solutions for community banks and credit unions.
