Those reports capture the facts of an incident, support investigations and case outcomes, inform agency operations, and help build public trust.\nWe're looking for an Associate Product Manager to help make that work faster, clearer, and more reliable. You'll improve the tools officers, supervisors, records personnel, and agency administrators rely on to document incidents accurately and complete critical work with less friction.\nThis is an opportunity with direct, real-world impact. The decisions you help shape will affect how officers capture information in demanding environments, how supervisors review and approve reports, and how agencies maintain the accurate records their communities depend on.\nYou will join a collaborative team that values curiosity, thoughtful problem-solving, and making a meaningful difference through the products we build. If you are curious about how people work, energized by solving consequential problems, and eager to grow your product management skills, you'll find a compelling opportunity here.\nHybrid Work Policy: This is a hybrid position which requires the candidate to be local to the Troy, MI office 3 days per week.\nPlease Note: We are not considering candidates who require visa sponsorship for this position. This is a budgetary decision and due to the significant talent available currently who do not require such sponsorship.\nWhat You’ll Do\nDevelop a deep understanding of how officers, supervisors, records personnel, and agency administrators create, review, approve, and manage police reports, including the operational consequences when those workflows create friction.\nTalk directly with customers and partner with support and implementation teams to uncover unmet needs, recurring pain points, and opportunities to make report writing faster, clearer, and more reliable.\nHelp frame customer problems, evaluate potential solutions, and translate product direction into well-defined plans, user stories, workflow designs, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation.\nPartner closely with engineering and design to turn complex public-safety workflows into intuitive, dependable product experiences.\nHelp prioritize the backlog by weighing customer impact, agency needs, business value, technical dependencies, effort, and urgency.\nParticipate actively throughout delivery: clarify requirements, make informed tradeoffs, validate functionality, and help the team maintain momentum toward meaningful outcomes.\nTest new capabilities against real-world reporting workflows, ensuring they support accurate documentation and are practical for the people who rely on them every day.\nInvestigate customer-reported issues with support, clients, and engineering; articulate expected behavior, customer impact, and the path to resolution.\nCoordinate with adjacent product teams on connected workflows, integrations, and shared data so the broader public-safety experience works together.\nHelp communicate the value of releases through demonstrations, release notes, training materials, and internal enablement.\nMonitor product health and user behavior through analytics, customer feedback, and operational signals; identify friction, adoption trends, and opportunities to improve the report-writing experience.\nMeasure the impact of product improvements through adoption, usage, customer feedback, and product-health metrics - using what you learn to make the experience better for the public-safety professionals who depend on it.\nResponsibilities\n3+ years of experience in product management, business analysis, software development, implementation, or a closely related role.\nA genuine curiosity about how people work and the ability to turn what you learn into better product experiences.\nStrong product thinking: you can break down a problem, ask thoughtful questions, organize ambiguity, and help identify the highest-impact path forward.\nClear, concise communication skills. You can write requirements that give engineering and design teams confidence, and explain customer needs to technical and non-technical partners.\nStrong attention to detail and follow-through, especially when a workflow, data point, or user experience can affect the accuracy of critical public-safety records.\nAbility to build alignment across engineering, design, support, implementation, and customer-facing teams around customer needs, product priorities, and shared outcomes.\nAn eagerness to learn technical concepts, understand system and data dependencies, and make sound tradeoffs alongside experienced teammates.\nA customer-centered mindset and interest in understanding the real-world context behind requests - not just the feature being asked for.\nA desire to work on mission-critical applications where reliability, accuracy, security, and usability make a meaningful difference for the people and communities who depend on them.\nQualifications\nTechnical fluency that helps you understand system architecture, integrations, data dependencies, and the tradeoffs behind product decisions.\nExperience using product analytics, databases, or basic data queries to investigate customer behavior and inform decisions.\nFamiliarity with accessibility, security, and sensitive-data considerations with an appreciation for the care required when building products people trust with critical information.\nExperience helping launch AI-powered product capabilities in real customer environments, with an understanding of user trust, quality, safety, adoption, and how to learn from production use.\nWhat Success Looks Like\nYou’ll become a trusted member of a team building software that supports consequential, real-world work. By developing a deep understanding of the officers, supervisors, detectives, and records teams who use our application to create and manage reports that support millions of criminal investigations each year, you’ll help turn customer insight, user analytics, and product-health signals into meaningful improvements. Along the way, you’ll build strong partnerships, grow your product judgment, and see your contributions make a tangible difference for public-safety professionals and the communities they serve.","description_format":"text","description_chars":6342,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":3,"management_years_min":3,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":["Hybrid work"],"hiring_locations":[{"name":"United States","iso":"US","kind":"country"}],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["ERP & Business Management Software","Digital Government"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-10-21T21:46:40Z"}],"visa":[{"country":"US","licensed_sponsor":true,"evidence":"H-1B filings in 12 months: 38 · green card filings: 12","filings_12m":38,"filings_prev_12m":65,"green_card_filings_12m":12,"median_offered_wage_usd":117900,"route":null,"cap_exempt":false,"checked_at":"2026-10-15T11:24:14+00:00","sources":["US Department of Labor: LCA disclosure data (H-1B, H-1B1, E-3)","US Department of Labor: PERM disclosure data (green cards)"],"filings_for_role_12m":2}],"liveness":{"score":90,"band":"hot","label":"Hiring now","p_open":1,"p_active":0.902,"p_room":1,"age_days":2,"expected_fill_days":10,"reasons":["conf:3","velocity","win:early","comp:junior"],"computed_at":"2026-10-24T06:02:35Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/tyler-technologies-associate-product-manager","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/tyler-technologies-associate-product-manager.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-24T09:55:35Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","about":"Alion is a live layer of people, companies and AI agents: who they are, whether they are real and active right now, what they do and how to work with them, readable by people and by agents and paid per call.","catalog":"https://alion.io/catalog.json","usage":{"tier":"crawler_verified","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":14397,"day_limit":null,"remaining_today":null,"minute_limit":300,"resets_at":"2026-10-25T00:00:00Z"}},"offers":[{"id":"company.slices","title":"One company in depth, by slice","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002,"plus_per_slice":{"credits":0.05,"usd":0.005}},"unit":"per company, plus each slice with data","note":"the employer in depth","call":{"mcp_tool":"get_company","arguments":{"id":179690},"rest":"https://alion.io/mcp/rest/get_company?id=179690"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.slices&for=job%2Ftyler-technologies-associate-product-manager"},{"id":"market.stats","title":"A market slice: pay, demand and time to fill","status":"live","price":{"credits":1,"usd":0.1},"unit":"per slice","note":"pay, demand and time to fill for this role and place","call":{"mcp_tool":"market_stats"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=market.stats&for=job%2Ftyler-technologies-associate-product-manager"},{"id":"job.search","title":"Open jobs by role, technology, place, pay and visa","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002},"unit":"per posting in a list","note":"similar open postings","call":{"mcp_tool":"search_jobs"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=job.search&for=job%2Ftyler-technologies-associate-product-manager"},{"id":"company.verify","title":"Is this company real and active right now","status":"pilot","price":null,"unit":"per company","request":{"url":"https://alion.io/catalog/request","method":"POST","body":"{\"offer\": \"company.verify\", \"for\": \"job/tyler-technologies-associate-product-manager\", \"note\": \"what you need it for\"}"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.verify&for=job%2Ftyler-technologies-associate-product-manager"}]}
