Businesses and citizens benefit from faster, more convenient and cost-effective interactions with government.\nJob duties in a few tidy bullet points:\nLead customer interview sessions with state agencies to elicit and validate functional and technical requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirement workshops, surveys, site visits, business process description, use cases, scenarios, task and workflow analysis\nCritically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low level information to a general understanding and distinguish user requests from underlying needs\nIdentify workflow and process improvement opportunities, and perform analysis of new changed processes, and clearly document and communicate them\nCollaborate with state agencies, development staff and user interface designers to define requirements and acceptance criteria for implementation\nCreate detailed and effective project specification documentation, including user scenarios, screen mock-ups, business rules, and acceptance criteria\nCreate test plans and scripts for user testing\nPerform internal testing and other quality assurance activities\nResponsible for validation of requirements with key stakeholders \nProvide hands-on participation throughout the development lifecycle\nDevelop trusted relationships with state agency subject matter experts\nYou will definitely needall this:\nUndergraduatedegree in information systems, business, computer science or equivalent work experience in business analysis with a preference for Certification of Competency in Business Analysis or Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)\nMinimum two years of job-related experience\nExperience with formal requirements syntax\nMust display a positive attitude and patience in dealing with customers with varying technical experience or knowledge\nSelf-motivated with the ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks and deliver results to meet customer expectations\nDesire and ability to work in a fast-paced, highly flexible and entrepreneurial environment\nMust enjoy working both independently and within project teams\nMust possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and pay obsessive attention to detail\nWhy workfor us?\nYour work product will be used by thousandsif not millions of people\nWe offer the excitement of a start-up AND the benefits/support of a big company\nYour work will be recognized and win awards.(We won’t hire you unless we think you can because we like to win!)
