Our sales teams need to understand what we are selling and why it matters. Our implementation and support teams need to be prepared to deliver and support it. Our customers need a clear understanding of the value. And our internal teams need alignment on packaging, processes, timing, dependencies, and ownership.\nThe Product Launch Manager will bring those pieces together.\nThis is a highly cross-functional role for someone who is exceptionally organized, comfortable operating across organizational boundaries, and willing to drive work forward when there is no obvious single owner. We are looking for someone who identifies gaps early, creates clarity, establishes accountability, and relentlessly works toward organizational readiness.\nWhat You’ll Do\nOwn Launch Readiness\nLead cross-functional readiness for major product launches, new modules, significant features, SaaS capabilities, and other strategic releases across Tyler’s Public Safety product portfolio.\nDevelop and manage repeatable launch plans that define key milestones, dependencies, owners, decisions, risks, and readiness criteria.\nEstablish clear launch gates and assess whether Product, Sales, Marketing, Implementation, Support, Training, and other operational teams are prepared for launch.\nIdentify readiness gaps early and drive teams toward resolution.\nCoordinate Across the Organization\nServe as the central point of coordination between Product and the teams responsible for selling, delivering, implementing, and supporting new capabilities.\nPartner closely with Product Management to understand the product, target customer, use cases, roadmap, release timing, dependencies, and customer value proposition.\nWork with Sales and Sales Enablement to ensure teams understand what is launching, who should buy it, how it should be positioned, and what they need to successfully engage customers.\nCoordinate with Product Marketing on positioning, messaging, launch communications, collateral, demonstrations, and market-facing materials.\nPartner with Implementation, Support, Training, Customer Success, and operational leaders to ensure downstream teams are prepared before customer adoption begins.\nBring unresolved cross-functional issues to the right decision-makers and drive them toward resolution.\nBuild a Scalable Launch Discipline\nCreate and continuously improve a consistent launch framework that can be used across Public Safety product lines.\nDevelop launch playbooks, readiness checklists, templates, dashboards, and communication mechanisms that make launch status visible to leadership and participating teams.\nHelp distinguish between different levels of launches - from incremental feature introductions to major new products - and scale the launch process appropriately.\nCreate clear accountability for launch deliverables while avoiding unnecessary process or bureaucracy.\nCapture lessons learned following launches and incorporate them into future launch practices.\nSupport Commercial Readiness\nEnsure the organization is prepared not simply to release a product, but to successfully commercialize it.\nCoordinate readiness around areas such as:\nSales positioning and enablement\n\nProduct demonstrations\n\nPricing and packaging readiness\n\nContracting and ordering processes\n\nInternal and customer-facing documentation\n\nImplementation and deployment readiness\n\nTraining\n\nSupport procedures\n\nCustomer communications\n\nEarly adopter or preview programs\n\nOperational dependencies\n\nLaunch risks and escalation paths\n\nPartner with stakeholders to track early launch performance, adoption, customer feedback, and operational issues and help transition launches into normal business operations.\nWhat Success Looks Like\nIn this role, success means that major launches across Public Safety are intentional, coordinated, and operationally ready.\nYou will help create an environment where:\nSales teams know what is launching and are prepared to sell it.\n\nImplementation and Support teams are prepared before customers begin adopting it.\n\nProduct teams have visibility into downstream launch dependencies.\n\nLeadership has a clear view of launch readiness, risks, and decisions required.\n\nCross-functional issues are identified and resolved before they become launch problems.\n\nLaunches transition smoothly from product development into scalable commercialization and operations.\n\nTyler develops a repeatable launch capability that can scale across the Public Safety portfolio.\n\nQualifications\nRequired\nExperience working in a SaaS software organization\n\nExperience managing product launches, go-to-market programs, product operations, program management, commercialization, or similar cross-functional initiatives\n\nDemonstrated ability to lead complex initiatives involving multiple teams and stakeholders\n\nStrong organizational and program management skills with the ability to manage multiple launches and priorities simultaneously\n\nAbility to translate complex product information into clear actions and requirements for different parts of an organization\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, including experience communicating with senior leaders\n\nDemonstrated ability to identify risks, dependencies, and organizational gaps before they become problems\n\nComfortable working in an environment where responsibilities may cross traditional functional boundaries\n\nBachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience\n\nPreferred\nExperience launching enterprise or vertical-market SaaS products\n\nExperience working with Sales, Product Management, Product Marketing, Implementation, Customer Success, and Support organizations\n\nExperience supporting commercialization of new products, AI capabilities, cloud products, or major platform transitions\n\nExperience building launch processes, operational playbooks, or organizational readiness programs\n\nExperience in Public Safety, GovTech, or software serving state and local government customers\n\nThe Person We’re Looking For\nThis role requires more than strong project management.\nWe are looking for someone with a driver mentality - someone who sees ambiguity and creates structure, sees an unresolved dependency and finds an owner, and sees an approaching deadline and asks what could prevent the organization from being successful.\nYou should be comfortable asking difficult questions such as:\nAre we actually ready to sell this?\n\nCan we implement it successfully?\n\nDoes Support know how to handle it?\n\nDo customers understand the value?\n\nAre pricing, packaging, contracting, and ordering ready?\n\nAre the right people trained?\n\nWhat could cause this launch to fail?\n\nWho needs to make the decision preventing us from moving forward?\n\nThe right person combines urgency with good judgment, can influence without direct authority, and knows when to create structure versus when to simply get the right people together and drive a decision.\nMost importantly, you will help ensure that great products do not simply get released -
