You will partner with our existing and prospective State Parks, recreation, outdoor experience, and Hunting & Fishing agency clients, along with multiple internal teams, to plan and deliver software implementation projects on time and within scope and budget. This position will also support special and one-off projects for the Sr Director of Operations related to audits, financials and contract management.\nThis is a hybrid role which requires 3 days onsite, in office, per week.\nResponsibilities\nWork with the sales team during the RFP process to provide project timelines and become familiar with contract requirements and potential revenue and fee models. \nOnce the contract is signed, develop and maintain pertinent project artifacts and schedule project meetings with clients and other staff as needed. \nOwn the contract deliverables and coordinate with the Implementation, Product & Engineering teams to scope out any additional development that is required for the implementation \nPartner with Client Success Managers, Technical Account Managers and Product & Engineering teams to scope out and schedule work for existing clients in addition to new implementations. \nManage and assume accountability for all aspects of projects related to the delivery of client software and services including: \nAcquiring and coordinating necessary resources to meet project needs. \nCoordinating scheduling and logistics for key client and internal team meetings. \nPlanning and tracking all project activity. \nGuiding the client through release planning in support of the overall project schedule. \nDevelop project plans, timelines, and track progress for assigned initiatives. \nTracking project hours and submitting project progress reports by due dates. \nManaging scope, time, and cost to meet client commitments. \nManaging communication throughout the team and stakeholders. \nManaging the quality of project team deliverables. \nManaging the project schedule and budget. \nDocumenting and reporting status and issues. \nIdentifying, reporting, and managing risks; overcoming project obstacles. \nCreating presentations, reports, and other project communications. \nMaintaining project documentation and ensure proper handoff upon completion. \nSupporting training plans and coordination of project to the support teams \nDevelop and maintain working knowledge of all system software and use it as needed to support daily operations.\nAct as a client liaison and representative communicating client feedback to appropriate Tyler representatives; acting to resolve outstanding issues on behalf of client in a timely manner for assigned projects. \nCommunicate with the implementation staff and management regularly, ensuring timely delivery of schedules and revenue projections; relaying personnel, client, contract, and departmental issues; seeking assistance as needed with meeting revenue goals; and responding to directives that are issued to meet department goals. \nMonitor and review revenue recognition and escalate concerns to management as needed. \nPartner with accounting team to coordinate client invoicing and other contractually billable items \nIdentify and document best practices, process improvements, and operational efficiencies. \nOperate independently on projects with minimal direction, knowing when to ask clarifying questions. \nObtain regular feedback from clients regarding project status and quality of service and take immediate corrective action as required. \nAnticipate, identify, and resolve roadblocks, such as hardware, software, or networking incompatibilities and unresponsive third-party vendors or clients. \nCommunicate completion of milestones to clients and secure formal acceptance from them. \nUpon project completion conduct meetings with clients to ensure a smooth transition of services from implementation to support and the Client Success team. \nTravel to client site as needed. \nPerform other duties as assigned. \nQualifications\nMinimum 5 years experience with software implementation project management \nOutdoor Recreation industry preferred (State Parks and Hunting/Fishing Licensing agencies) \nSoftware life cycle and enterprise software knowledge required. \nBachelor’s degree, or comparable work experience. \nSOC Audit and PCI compliance experience a plus \nPMP certification \nOrganizational and time management skills including solid people management and project management experience involving the ability to manage project financials and multiple projects of various size, scope and complexity simultaneously and within budget. \nAbility to promptly anticipate and address unexpected demands. Able to balance the workload and correctly complete each task while working to allocate time for special projects that arise from time to time. \nAbility to apply critical thinking skills to troubleshoot and develop acceptable solutions. \nAbility to prioritize and organize an array of varied tasks with limited supervision. \nSolid management and leadership experience is required including strong abilities in influencing, empowering and mentoring implementation team members. \nSolid conflict resolution, negotiation, business, and customer service skills including experience partnering successfully with clients on technical needs and delivering solutions tailored to client needs. \nDemonstrate excellent partnering and communication skills with executives and cross-functional teams. \nMaintain composure under pressure and accurately assess and resolve problem situations. \nWork effectively in a fast-paced, team-based environment. \nManage ambiguity and scope with unclear or evolving project requirements. \nAdapt quickly to shifting priorities and new project assignments. \nExcellent planning, organizational skills and ability to follow through until process are completed. \nExceptional customer service skills. \nExcellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical and non-technical information to various audiences including management. \nStrong decision-making and problem-solving skills. \nStrong analytical ability, particularly in a technical environment. \nProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project and Monday. \nAbility to travel 10-25% as
