We steward precious resources by finding more sustainable solutions.\nJob Summary\nOur Construction Management team in NJ is seeking a Construction Engineer to join us to work on Highway/Structural projects.Responsibilities & Qualifications\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nPerform contract documentation duties, which may include field measurements of pay items as well as daily inspection reports.\nCoordinate activities with onsite inspectors and inform Resident Engineer of construction progress and problem area progress and problem areas.\nProvide technical supervision and assistance to Resident Engineer.\nObserve and document nonconformance situations and change management events.\nOther responsibilities as assigned.\nQUALIFICATIONS (INCLUDING EDUCATION and/or JOB EXPERIENCE):\nMust meet one of the following requirements\nBe National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET) certified as a Transportation Engineering Technician Construction, Level II or higher with a minimum of at least 2+ years of bridge/highway construction experience\nBe certified as an Engineer-in-Training with at least 2+ years of bridge/highway construction experience.\nExperience working on high-speed roadways, setting up and removal of work zones and familiarity with Maintenance and Protection of Traffic (MPT) is preferred.\nExperience working on NJ DOT, NJ Transit, NYS DOT or similiar agency. \nMust have strong communication and organizational skills\nStrong computer skills including knowledge of MS Word, Excel, data entry and scheduling programs.\nFollowing certifications are preferred:ACI Certification\nTraffic Control Coordinator (TCC)\nOsha 30 Hours\nNJ SAT\n\nClient focused, always striving to give clients the best solutions.\nStrong commitment to innovation by creating new and better ways to solve clients’ toughest challenges.\nHigh levels of integrity, always doing the right thing in an ethical, fair, and sustainable way.\nDemonstrated experience of collaboration in a diverse and inclusive team, working together toward technical excellence.\nAdditional Information\nTYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $95,200 - $142,800 annually for this position and local market.
