We steward precious resources by finding more sustainable solutions.\nJob Summary\nThis role supports engineering projects through quantity take-offs, project monitoring and scheduling, computer modeling, progress reporting, and the preparation of engineering drawings, calculations, and cost estimates under senior engineer supervision. The position also involves collaborating with engineering teams, applying relevant codes and standards, and participating in site visits or inspections. Ideal candidates are 3rd- or 4th-year Civil Engineering students or graduate students with strong organizational, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Experience with Microsoft Office and engineering software such as SAP2000, CSiBridge, AutoCAD, or MicroStation is preferred.Responsibilities & Qualifications\nWhat You Will Do\nBecome familiar with engineering plans and details\nPerform quantity take-offs\nAssist with project monitoring and scheduling\nAssist with computer modeling\nAssist with producing progress reports\nCollaborate with other engineers, drafters, and support staff\nAssist in production of engineering drawings, calculations, and cost estimates under close supervision of senior engineers\nAbility to apply the use of proper codes and standards in the production of engineering deliverables\nAttend site visits or inspections\nWhat You Bring to the Team (Competencies)\nExceptional organizational and time management skills, with a proven ability to efficiently prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of producing clear documentation and interacting professionally with clients and colleagues\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision while also able to effectively collaborate in a team environment\nStrong commitment to integrity, consistently demonstrating ethical, fair, and responsible behavior\nCommitment to innovation and continuous learning, with a passion for acquiring new skills and driving improvements\nYour Education and Experience\nRequires current 3rd or 4th year standing as an undergraduate, or a Graduate student standing, in an accredited Civil Engineering program.
