We steward precious resources by finding more sustainable solutions.\nJob Summary\nThe Junior Structural Engineer supports the design, analysis, and evaluation of building and infrastructure projects under the guidance of senior engineers. This role assists in preparing structural calculations, drawings, and technical documentation, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.The Junior Structural Engineer collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, contributes to problem-solving and design optimization, and participates in site inspections to help ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality project delivery.\nResponsibilities & Qualifications\nResponsibilities:\nWork with diverse disciplines in horizontal and vertical structural design delivery, including but not limited to structural, civil, environmental, social, finance, and economics.\nCoordinate with clients, overseas TYLin offices and partners, and local associates as required.\nAssist in the preparation and review of engineering designs, plans, specifications, and estimates in accordance with applicable design codes and standards.\nApply working knowledge of relevant industry codes and standards such as ASBI, PCI, AASHTO, ACI, AISC, and other applicable regulations.\nSupport the preparation of structural calculations, technical reports, drawings, and design documentation.\nAssist in ensuring that drawings, calculations, and designs comply with company production standards, design requirements, and Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) procedures.\nAssist in preparing project schedules, tracking project data, and supporting progress reporting activities.\nParticipate in quality control and quality assurance reviews to help ensure deliverables meet project requirements and deadlines.\nCollaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to support successful project execution.\nPerform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.\nQualifications:\nBachelor's degree in civil engineering or Structural Engineering required.\nRegistered Civil Engineer (PRC Licensed) in the Philippines preferred; fresh board passers with relevant internship, academic, or project experience are encouraged to apply.\nAt least 1 year of relevant experience in structural engineering design, including exposure to steel and/or reinforced concrete structures. Internship and co-op experience may be considered.\nBasic understanding of structural engineering principles, analysis, and design methodologies.\nFamiliarity with applicable design codes and standards, including Philippine codes and international standards such as ACI, AISC, and AASHTO.\nWorking knowledge of structural engineering software and AutoCAD; exposure to BIM tools is an advantage.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.\nEffective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.\nWillingness to learn and develop technical expertise under the guidance of senior engineers.\nTravel may be required.\nAdditional Information\nAt TYLin Philippines, we recognize the significance of achieving a balanced work- life dynamic.
