We steward precious resources by finding more sustainable solutions.\nJob Summary\nThe Principal Bridge Engineer will report to the Bridge Director/Sector Manager to lead TYLin bridge sector initiatives in the Philippines, driving business development, client engagement, and project execution.Responsibilities & Qualifications\nDuties and Responsibilities\nLead and manage a team of engineers and designers in the delivery of bridge projects across all design phases-from conceptual to detailed design.\n\nOversee structural analysis and design of complex steel and concrete bridges, ensuring technical accuracy, code compliance, and constructability.\n\nDirect and review the preparation of plans, specifications, cost estimates, and scopes of work, in alignment with applicable standards and client expectations.\n\nDevelop and manage project schedules and budgets, ensuring compliance with QAQC procedures and timely delivery within scope and financial targets.\n\nSupervise and review design work, including calculations by engineers and EITs, and perform or oversee independent design checks and quality control reviews.\n\nCoordinate multidisciplinary efforts, including CAD production and collaboration with civil and other engineering disciplines for integrated project delivery.\n\nServe as a mentor and technical resource, guiding staff development, managing team utilization, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.\n\nEngage with clients and support business development, contributing to project delivery, client satisfaction, and pursuit of new opportunities.\n\nQualifications and Requirements\nMasters Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and licensed Professional Engineer (PE or equivalent).\n\n18+ years of experience in structural and bridge engineering on complex infrastructure projects exceeding $250M.\n\nProven leadership of multidisciplinary technical teams, with a strong track record in quality control, design management, and construction oversight.\n\nExcellent communication and client engagement skills, with the ability to present technical concepts and strategies clearly across diverse audiences.\n\nStrong commitment to innovation, sustainability, and delivering high-quality, client-focused solutions with integrity and accountability.\n\nDemonstrated ability to mentor, collaborate, and lead inclusively, fostering technical excellence in a diverse team environment.\n\nAdditional Information\nAt TYLin Philippines, we recognize the significance of achieving a balanced work- life dynamic.
