While an immediate vacancy may not be available, we are building relationships with talented professionals who are interested in joining our growing Water Sector team as new projects and hiring needs materialize.We are seeking a Process Engineer - Water/Wastewater, to join TYLin’s Water Sector. In this role, you'll design a variety of municipal servicing projects, both public and private, while growing your skills in client interfacing and project management.\nResponsibilities & Qualifications\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nUndertake the design of both public and private sector municipal servicing projects (i.e. sewage pumping stations and water booster stations, elevated tanks, reservoirs, and water/wastewater treatment systems) including engineering drawings, engineering reports, presentations, and required applications to regulatory and/or funding agencies.\n\nCoordinate the design with review/input from the various municipal/utility/approval agencies/stakeholders and obtain all necessary approvals.\n\nLiaise with clients, municipalities, and other agencies to secure approvals.\n\nAssist developing and managing project scope, budget, staffing and schedule.\n\nPrepare contract documents for construction (i.e. engineering drawings and specifications).\n\nMay conduct construction inspection services and construction administration.\n\nMay provide services during construction that can include submittal reviews, responses to requests for information and contract document clarifications.\n\nParticipate in constructability review.\n\nConduct quality assurance and quality control on projects.\n\nMentor recently hired junior team members on the various facets of municipal infrastructure design.\n\nPrepare portions of engineering project proposals, change orders, client contact and communication pertaining to specific projects.\n\nComplete tasks accurately and efficiently with minimum supervision.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nBachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Civil engineering.\n\nP.Eng. licensure with P.E.O.\n\n5-7 years of experience in the execution of wastewater infrastructure (sewer pumping stations, booster pumping stations, reservoir and elevated tanks and water and wastewater treatment plants) projects.\n\nExperience with Master Planning, Class EAs and DWWP and/or ECA process in Ontario considered or equivalent in other Provinces is considered an asset.\n\nContract administration experience is considered an asset.\n\nClient focused, always striving to give clients the best solutions.\n\nStrong commitment to innovation by creating new and better ways to solve clients’ toughest challenges.\n\nHigh levels of integrity, always doing the right thing in an ethical, fair, and sustainable way.\n\nDemonstrated experience of collaboration in a diverse and inclusive team, working together toward technical excellence.\n\n Additional Information\nTYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $87,000-$108,000 for this position and local market.
