We steward precious resources by finding more sustainable solutions.\nJob Summary\nWe are looking for a Senior Bridge Engineer to join TYLin’s Bridge Sector team in Manila.This role offers the opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing team, contributing to a wide range of exciting infrastructure projects across the Philippines. We are seeking a technically strong Senior Bridge Engineer and seller-doer who is eager to take on a leadership role in both project execution and client engagement.\nResponsibilities & Qualifications\nResponsibilities\nApply strong technical expertise and broad experience in the preliminary and detailed design of bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and other transportation-related structures.\n\nProvide technical support during construction phases, including conducting site inspections and overseeing contract administration as required.\n\nPrepare engineering drawings and documentation for projects of varying complexity and scope, ensuring compliance with applicable standards (e.g., AASHTO, DPWH DGCS) and internal procedures.\n\nServe in a key technical role on both conventional and alternative delivery bridge projects nationwide.\n\nLead multi-disciplinary bridge design projects for public sector clients, ensuring high-quality, timely, and budget-conscious delivery.\n\nAct as the Primary Client Manager for various districts in the Philippines, maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring ongoing satisfaction.\n\nLead proposal development efforts, with a focus on strengthening and expanding existing relationships within the transportation sector.\n\nServe as Pursuit Lead for key opportunities in the country, particularly within the Manila Bridge Sector, and actively support alternative delivery pursuits.\n\nRepresent the team in public presentations, including support with technical and design-related communications to stakeholders.\n\nPerform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Bridge Director or leadership team.\n\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in civil/structural engineering required; Masters preferred.\n\nMust be a registered professional engineer in the Philippines or a member of International Engineering Charters or Organizations.\n\n10+ years’ experience in the design of steel and concrete bridges.\n\nExperience mentoring junior engineers is required.\n\nFamiliarity with special seismic provisions and steel connection design provisions of the Philippine and AISC codes.\n\nStrong project management and client relationship management skills, with a solid understanding of vertical and horizontal engineering principles and applicable codes.\n\nRequires knowledge of engineering principles and industry standards.\n\nExpertise in one or more analysis and/or design software packages.\n\nProficiency in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
