We steward precious resources by finding more sustainable solutions.\nJob Summary\nTYLin Buildings is seeking Structural Engineer, Entry-Level to join our team in Chicago.***Please include a cover letter and unofficial transcript with your application. ***\nResponsibilities & Qualifications\nResponsibilities\nWork with the project team to do the structural design and analysis for a wide range of buildings projects, involving steel, concrete, masonry, wood, and archaic building systems from conceptual and preliminary stages of design through to completion.\nAssisting in the preparation of drawings and specifications.\nConducting site investigations to document existing conditions.\nPerform field review for projects under construction.\nOther responsibilities as assigned.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering (with a focus on structures preferred).\nMaster’s Degree would be considered an asset.\nPassing of E.I.T. exam preferred.\n0-3 years of relevant experience in the execution of commercial, institutional, or residential projects preferred.\nFamiliarity with REVIT Structure preferred.\nFamiliarity with computer analysis software (e.g. RISA, SAP, RAM) preferred.\nClient focused, always striving to give clients the best solutions.\nStrong commitment to innovation by creating new and better ways to solve clients’ toughest challenges.\nHigh levels of integrity, always doing the right thing in an ethical, fair, and sustainable way.\nDemonstrated experience of collaboration in a diverse and inclusive team, working together toward technical excellence.\nAdditional Information\nTYLin is committed to pay equity.
