We steward precious resources by finding more sustainable solutions.\nJob Summary\nWe are seeking a Water Engineer to join our Water Sector team.Make waves with a collaborative and creative team as you work on a variety of municipal infrastructure projects; provide mentoring and direction to junior engineers and designers; build and maintain client relationships, and hone your technical and leadership skills.\nResponsibilities & Qualifications\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nBuild and maintain key customer relationships and assist with increasing current market position. Support proposal process.\nManage and actively participate in projects. \nProvide direction to the design teams throughout all phases of a project. Review drawings and engineering reports. \nLiaise with the various municipal/utility/approval agencies. \nResponsible for the financial management project, project schedules, and client communications. \nParticipate in company-wide quality initiatives and improvements through quality objectives such as facilitating departmental-level quality plans and procedures. \nMentor intermediate team members. \nAdditional responsibilities as assigned.\nQUALIFICATIONS (INCLUDING EDUCATION and/or JOB EXPERIENCE):\nProfessional Engineer (P. Eng.). \n5-8+ years of municipal infrastructure design for Public Sector projects in Southern Ontario & Canada. \nFamiliarity with local planning/approval process. \nPMP Certification is a preferred asset. \nWorking knowledge of computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project). \nWell-developed communication skills, both oral and written. \nExcellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills. \nCreative and innovative thinker with sound technical aptitude and attention to detail. \nAbility to establish effective working relationships with colleagues, associates, and clients. \nAbility to effectively multi-task and work in fast paced, highly charged environment. \nClient focused, always striving to give clients the best solutions. \nStrong commitment to innovation by creating new and better ways to solve clients’ toughest challenges. \nHigh levels of integrity, always doing the right thing in an ethical, fair, and sustainable way.\nDemonstrated experience of collaboration in a diverse and inclusive team, working together toward technical excellence. \n Additional Information\nTYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $82,400-$103,000 for this position and local market.
