Founded in 2019 by serial entrepreneur Ning Li, Typology became the #1 selling skincare brand online in France and operates also in Germany, the USA, Japan, Italy and The Netherlands.\nLocation: Paris (11e arrondissement)\nMission:\nAt Typology, we are looking for an Industrialisation & Quality Manager to bring industrial and manufacturing expertise on the brand side. From validated formula to finished product in the customer's hands, you will challenge our contract manufacturers on processes, quality (formula and packaging) and execution, manage supplier transitions, handle quality topics with rigor and anticipate industrial risks.\nResponsibilities:\nManufacturing & filling process analysis and optimisation:\nDefine the Typology specifications, in line with our quality standards (bulk and packaging).\n\nQualify and audit new contract manufacturers (capacity assessment, technical audit before commitment).\n\nQualify and validate the manufacturing and filling processes of existing contract manufacturers.\n\nMonitor first industrial batches to ensure successful scale-up.\n\nDevelop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs).\n\nConduct on-site audits and implement continuous improvement plans.\n\nIndustrial development and transfer (formula & packaging):\nManage formula and packaging transfers to new contract manufacturers.\n\nMonitor and validate industrial feasibility and formula/packaging component compatibility.\n\nSupport the Product, Packaging and Lab teams on industrial constraints, and define batch sizes and appropriate equipment.\n\nAct as the technical point of reference from the upstream phase (tenders) through to final acceptance.\n\nOperational quality, packaging and dispute management:\nDefine acceptance criteria for packaging components.\n\nManage quality returns and non-conformities (internal, logistics or customer): identify root causes and drive corrective and preventive action plans with suppliers (bulk and packaging).\n\nNegotiate the resolution of technical and quality disputes with suppliers (credit notes, rework, compliance upgrades).\n\nMonitor the testing process, review batch records and ensure compliance of release certificates.\n\nTake part in deviation investigations in collaboration with the contract manufacturers' Quality Assurance teams.\n\nTrack quality performance indicators (scrap rate, complaints, packaging compliance).\n\nPerformance & project management:\nImplement industrial performance analysis tools to support decision-making.\n\nEnsure deadlines, costs and quality standards are met.\n\nLead the planning and execution of industrialisation projects and cross-functional projects.\n\nTechnology watch: monitor technological, regulatory and industrial developments (processes, eco-packaging) to propose innovative solutions.\n\nKey Results\nIndustrial excellence guaranteed in the manufacturing and filling of Typology products.\n\nOperating procedures mastered, enabling efficient industrial transfer to new contract manufacturers and compliance with the highest quality standards.\n\nA structured qualification method for new laboratories and suppliers in place, enabling production lines to scale.\n\nDevelopment costs optimized, production schedules secured, and upstream/downstream quality (formula and packaging) under control.\n\nSpecific skills:\nSupplier audits: solid background in auditing manufacturers and suppliers.\n\nTechnical negotiation: experience negotiating technical and quality topics with suppliers.\n\nProblem solving: rigorous approach to root cause analysis and resolution.\n\nProfil\nYou are the technical and quality reference who secures scale-up, from industrial transfers to new contract manufacturers through to the handling of non-conformities and quality returns. You have a solid background in supplier audits, technical negotiation and problem solving.\nEngineering degree (or equivalent)\n\nAt least 5 years' experience in industrialisation or quality\n\nAt least one previous experience in the pharmaceutical or cosmetics industry\n\nFluent English and French\n\nAutonomous, with strong drive\n\nDiversity is the engine of our innovation.
