The position will perform high-level machine and systems troubleshooting and repair, assist engineering and plant staff with the specification, installation, and modification of integrated systems, and provide technical support for all phases of the operation.\nKey Responsibilities\nTechnical Support: Provide technical support for all phases of the operation.\nTroubleshooting and Repair: Perform high-level troubleshooting and repair tasks on machines and systems.\nEngineering Assistance: Assist engineering and plant staff with the specification, installation, and modification of integrated systems.\nTeam Collaboration: Work effectively within a team, collaborating with colleagues to solve problems and enhance operations.\nCommunication: Convey technical information effectively and contribute to productive discussions aimed at improving processes and resolving issues.\nJob Requirements\nEducation\nTraining beyond high school either an Associate (A.S.) degree in Electronics Technology (or closely related technical field), or a combination of education and experience which may include skilled trades programs or military training.\nExperience\n4+ years of automation experience and/or industrial maintenance experience.\nComputer Skills\nStandard computer skills.\nMust have strong skills in document organization, the use of technical materials, and research techniques.\nMust either be proficient or become proficient in SAP Maintenance.\nCommunication Skills\nMust be able to communicate verbally and in writing with all team members.\nSpecial Skills\nMust possess the ability to function effectively in a team environment and interact productively with all levels of management and operations personnel.\nCritical thinking and problem-solving skills.\nStrong interpersonal skills.\nCertification\nCertifications in any technical field or techniques is a plus.\nSupervisory\nNot applicable.\nTravel\n1-5 trips per year outside of assigned location\n\nRelocation Assistance Eligible:\nNoWork Shift:\n3RD SHIFT (United States of America)Certain roles at Tyson require background checks.
