Influences in collaborative meetings with peers and stakeholders. Interacts with stakeholders, create requirements and demonstrate work. Documents code. Follow established software product engineering practices related to software development. \nWorks under moderate supervision with access to assistance for work assignments not covered through established guidelines.\nAcquires solid knowledge and develops specialized skills.\nEstablishes individual priorities when supporting projects and/or processes.\nPerform other assigned job-related duties that align with our organization's vision, mission, and values and fall within your scope of practice. Design and Development:\nDesigning, coding, and debugging applications in various software languages or tools.\nDeveloping software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, and studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes. Testing and Maintenance:\nPerforming unit testing and integration testing.\nMaintaining and improving existing codebases and peer review code changes.\nTroubleshooting and resolving software defects and issues. Collaboration:\nCollaborating with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to define, design, and ship new features.\nParticipating in code reviews and providing constructive feedback to peers. Documentation:\nWriting and maintaining technical documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, testing, changes, and corrections. Research and Development:\nKeeping up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the company remains competitive.\nConducting research to discover new technologies and tools to improve efficiency and performance. Project Management:\nParticipating in project planning, including estimating timeframes and resource requirements.\nManaging tasks and deadlines to ensure timely delivery of projects. Security and Compliance:\nEnsuring software security and compliance with industry standards and regulations.\nImplementing data protection and security measures. Customer Interaction:\nInteracting with customers or end-users to gather requirements and provide support.\nTranslating customer requirements into technical specifications. Continuous Improvement:\nContinuously improving development processes and methodologies.\nEngaging in continuous learning and professional development.\nQualifications:\nEducation: Bachelor's Degree preferably in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Quantitative or Engineering Field or relevant experience. \nExperience: 1+ years relevant or practical experience.\nPreferred Skills:\nFull-Stack Development: Experience designing, building, and maintaining full-stack applications, including modern front-end frameworks, back-end services, APIs, and cloud infrastructure.\nMathematical Optimization: Familiarity with optimization techniques, mathematical programming, or optimization solvers (e.g., Gurobi), particularly in building applications that support complex business decisions.\nData Science Collaboration: Experience collaborating with data scientists and data engineers to integrate predictive models, analytical workflows, and data-driven decision capabilities into production applications.\nArtificial Intelligence: Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools and integrating AI/ML capabilities into software applications.\n\nSpecial Skills:\nProgramming (proficient in at least two languages or proficient in 2 software tools)\nProficient in at least one front-end or back-end framework\nUtilizes data engineering\nUtilizes Version Control, DevOps & CICD\nTechnical Writing and Diagramming\nAnalysis (Technical, Business, or Data)\nSoft Skills:\nCommunication: Influencing collaborative meetings and interacting with stakeholders.\nInitiative: Proactively identifying and proposing development solutions.\nProblem-solving: Delivering medium to high-complexity tasks.\nAdaptability: Developing specialized skills and knowledge.\nLeadership: Mentoring junior developers.\nTime Management: Managing tasks and deadlines for timely project delivery.\nCritical Thinking: Analyzing development needs and proposing improvements.\n* Not eligible for immigration/work authorization now or in the future *\n* Not eligible for relocation assistance *\nAll professional team members are expected to demonstrate responsible use of approved AI tools, including safeguarding sensitive information, adhering to company policies, and validating AI-generated outputs.
