Their skill set includes developing in big data technologies and enhancing their theoretical knowledge of data warehousing in an analytics environment.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, and optimize data pipelines using SQL, Scripting, and Tyson-approved data engineering frameworks.\nDevelop and maintain ELT/ETL processes utilizing Cloud Platform services.\nBuild and support enterprise data warehouse solutions following Tyson dimensional modeling standards, including Star Schema and Kimball methodologies.\nDevelop and optimize data models, views, stored procedures, and transformations to improve data performance and usability.\nCollaborate with business partners, product owners, and analytics teams to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.\nBuild, deploy, and support data visualization solutions that effectively communicate data insights.\nOptimize cloud resource utilization and participate in cost management initiatives.\nContribute to data architecture reviews and recommend improvements to data structures, integration patterns, and reporting solutions.\nAssist with streaming, near real-time, and batch data integration initiatives where applicable.\nCommunicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver business value through data solutions.\nPerform other assigned duties consistent with Tyson Foods' mission, values, and business objectives.\nQualifications\nEducation:\nBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.\nEducation: Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience. \nPreferred Certification(s): Any relevant IT Certification.\nExperience: 1+ years relevant or practical experience.\nTechnical Skills\nStrong SQL development and query optimization skills.\nUnderstanding of data warehousing concepts and basic data architecture.\nFamiliarity with version control systems such as Git and CI/CD deployment practices.\nUnderstanding of DataHub-to-Analytics data movement patterns and enterprise integration concepts.\nSoft Skills\nInitiative: Proactively identify opportunities to improve data quality, performance, and business insights.\nTeamwork: Partner effectively with business, analytics, and IT teams.\nCommunication: Translate technical concepts into actionable business recommendations.\nCritical Thinking: Analyze complex data problems and recommend scalable solutions.\nAdaptability: Quickly learn evolving Tyson platforms, technologies, and business processes.\nTime Management: Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced enterprise environment.\nAttention to Detail: Ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of enterprise data assets.\nRelocation Assistance Eligible:\nNoWork Shift:\nThe successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.\nTyson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
