This facility operates five days a week and produces Sausage Patties, Sausage Links and Roll Sausage.\nPOSITION SUMMARY:\nSet up equipment in preparation for startup, and responsible for operating case packer, while also being able to adhere to good safety practices, food safety policies, and company policies.\nRESPONSIBILITIES: \nSet up equipment in preparation for startup, and responsible for the running the KP machines, while also adhering to good safety practices, food safety policies, and company policies. \nSet up V-Mag stuffer/grinder and KP machines. \nMove empty racks into position for loading and loading logs onto racks. \nSend out correct diameters of slicing logs to freezer. \nChang film as needed. \nIdentify and stripping out defective logs. \nDrain water from bottom of KP and inspecting equipment. \nSet up and breaking down grinders. \nRecord condition of grinder plates on grinder inspection sheets and turning in to lead/supervisor. \nInform QA and Production Supervisor in the event of issues with equipment/grinder or raw materials.\nInforms and assists Maintenance persons in identifying and correcting problems with machines. \nPerforms PM’s on equipment in assigned Department. \nREQUIREMENTS:\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.\nBasic Math Skills and ability to become certified in Lock Out tag Out Program.\nMust be willing and able to work on and around machinery and chemicals. \nMust be willing and able to work in temperatures less than or equal to 35 degrees Fahrenheit temperature for minimum of 8 hours.\nMust be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.\nMust be willing and able to perform the following task for periods of 8 hours on concrete floor, some of which may include but is not limited to bending, twisting, reaching, standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting.\nMust have a minimum of 6 months cumulative industrial maintenance experience or equivalent training.\nMust be willing and able to pinch/grip product and place into specified location.\nMust have 6 MThs continuous employment in the last 18 months.
