The ability to function effectively in a team environment and interact productively with all levels of management and operations is required. \nREQUIREMENTS:\nEducation and Experience: Training beyond high school including either\nan Associate Degree in Electronic Technology or closely related\ntechnical field preferred, or a combination of education and experience\nwhich may include skilled trade programs, military training or other\ntraining as applicable.\nComputer Skills: Competent in Windows based software, such as Outlook,\nExcel and Word; strong skills in document organization and using\ndocument templates and creating simple queries. Must be proficient or\nbecome proficient in SAP Plant Maintenance.\nCommunication Skills: Must be able to communicate both verbally and\nwritten; high level critical thinking, and problem solving skills.\nCertification: Certifications in any technical field or techniques is a\nplus.\nSpecial Skills: Good safety and attendance record, along with strong\ninterpersonal skills; demonstrated skills in the area of AC/DC circuits,\nindustrial electrical systems.; experience in electrical safety and lock\nout tag out processes and procedures; knowledge in the theory and\napplication of electronic devices such as industrial semi-conductors,\nsolid state drives, and industrial control systems; experience in the\noperation of PLC systems and control and data collection instrumentation\nand transducers; working knowledge and skills in tools and components\nused in maintenance and repair of mechanical systems such as bearings,\ngears, clutches belts, and seals; ability to troubleshoot and maintain\nhydraulic and pneumatic components and systems.\nPreferred Skills: Possession of one or more of the skills is a plus -\nBasic Microcomputer skills necessary to understand the operation and\ninterfacing characteristics of microprocessors; experience in PLC\noperation to include basic system configuration and hardware, relay\nequivalent instructions, timers/counters, data manipulation, data\ncommunications and advanced programming commands, as well as\ninterfacing, troubleshooting and application and program development;\ndemonstrated skills or training in electronic motor drive technologies\nincluding servo- motors, encoders, tachometers, electronic and\nmechanical brakes and clutches, closed loop systems, DC servo, AC\nvariable frequency, AC servo and stepper systems.\nTravel: Minimum 1-5 trips per year outside of assigned location.\nRelocation Assistance Eligible:\nNoWork Shift:\n2ND SHIFT (United States of America)Certain roles at Tyson require background checks.
