The role requires standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching in all work areas. Candidates must be able to climb stairs and ladders and lift up to 100 pounds. Work is performed in cold, damp, or hot and humid environments, with temperatures ranging from 30°F to 105°F. Candidates must be mechanically inclined; welding experience is preferred.\nRefrigeration maintenance crews work six (6) days per week with two (2) rotating days off. Schedules include Sundays and some major holidays.\nCandidates who have previously worked for Tyson have a 180 days rehire waiting period and a 3 time limit.\nRequirements:\n6 months ammonia refrigeration or boiler room experience. 12 months experience of mechanical work will be considered in lieu of refrigeration experience.
