As a Senior Maintenance Supervisor, you can expect your day to day to include being responsible for all aspects of plant maintenance coordination including leading and directing maintenance technicians.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nPlanning and supervising the execution of cost effective and timely maintenance necessary for the operation of all equipment.\nDirecting, coordinating, and supporting maintenance personnel.\nWorking with contractors, vendors, or company engineering in the modification or installation of equipment.\nTroubleshooting and resolving new and or different technical problems regarding equipment.\nObtains quotes for project work and prepares written project justifications.\nMaintaining relevant records and ensuring OSHA standards and programs are implemented.\nInstructing in the use of personal protective equipment.\nImplementing new ways of improving ergonomics within the facility.\nPSM: Maintaining compliance with Process Safety Management Standards.\nSkill development of team members.\nHigh Pressure Boiler Compressed Air System Hot Water Generation and HVAC systems management and maintenance.\nCoordinate Team Member schedules handling time and attendance records holding monthly safety meetings and performing other responsibilities as assigned.\nREQUIREMENTS:\nEducation: Education beyond high school including special training vocational school and or college courses. Completion of the Tyson Level 8 training in the MT or ERT program is preferred.\nExperience: 3 plus years’ experience in Industrial Maintenance preferred. Experience with Anhydrous Ammonia Mechanical Refrigeration and High-Pressure Boiler maintenance and management is preferred.\nComputer Skills: Elementary computer skills; for example, checking electronic mail entering data into document templates or creating simple queries.\nTravel: 1 to 5 trips per year.\nSupervisory Skills: This position is responsible for supervising a group of personnel who perform somewhat identical and related tasks or activities.\nRelocation Assistance Eligible:\nNoWork Shift:\n1ST SHIFT (United States of America)Pay Range/Rate:\nIncentives:\nAnnual Incentive Plan:\nNoLong-Term Incentive Plan:\nNoCertain roles at Tyson require background checks.
