Temperanceville Plant - Parts Room Attendant 4 FT 2nd Shift

Job Details:

This position is response for inventory control in the maintenance shop, as well as receiving and storing parts, maintenance supplies, and miscellaneous receivers while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Pay: $21.80/hr

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for maintaining parts in inventory tracking system; performing usage analysis; keeping parts room clean and orderly; dispensing parts and tools to maintenance personnel as needed; identifying and monitoring parts flow by parts numbers; releasing purchase requisitions for approval; receiving all maintenance parts; signing vendor tickets; filling out receiving reports for accounts payable; delivering parts to maintenance personnel for a particular job; stocking inventory in parts room and printing documentation on inventory replenishment. Other duties include knowledge of parts tools used in plant; unload supply trucks prioritizing daily work with minimum supervision and other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: High school graduate or equivalent.

Experience: Experience working with parts and tools a plus; Forklift experience Computer Skills: Knowledge of a computerized maintenance management system that includes receiving and accounts payable; competent in Windows-based software such as Microsoft Excel and Word.

Communication Skills: Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing with all team members; bilingual preferred. Physical Requirements: Ability to unload supplies lifting 100 lbs occasionally and 50 lbs frequently.

Special Skills: Knowledge skills and abilities to do intermediate math and accounting; perform tasks with a high degree of accuracy; ability to prioritize and multi-task; work without supervision; be detail oriented; have good attendance; ability to function effectively in a team environment and interact productively with all levels of management and operations maintenance.
