The general schedule is Monday through Thursday, with overtime as required to support business needs.\nPosition Overview\nThe Quality Technician will inspect finished products, work-in-process materials, raw materials, components, and fabricated parts. This position will also perform quality testing, support containment activities, complete process audits, and assist with the development of quality alerts, deviations, standard work instructions, and corrective actions.\nThe Quality Technician will work closely with Production, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality leadership to identify quality concerns, determine root causes, and support permanent corrective actions.\nResponsibilities\nPerform daily product audits throughout the facility.\nIssue quality inspection reports to the Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams.\nConduct quality process audits across all departments.\nInspect equipment and materials to identify errors, problems, or defects.\nSupport the development and implementation of solutions for permanent corrective action.\nConduct quality testing of materials, components, work-in-process, and finished products.\nInspect incoming purchased materials, components, and first-piece samples.\nInspect in-house metal fabrication parts.\nDevelop and implement quality checks throughout the facility as needed.\nSet up, maintain, and audit end-of-line product testing software.\nCreate quality alerts, deviations, and standard work instructions for manufacturing.\nPerform required RMA and warehouse testing and communicate results to the appropriate team members.\nAnalyze blueprints, data, manuals, specifications, and other technical materials to determine inspection and testing requirements.\nUse appropriate measurement instruments and testing methods to verify product conformance.\nSupport containment activities involving supplied materials, components, or finished goods.\nFacilitate required sorting and testing activities.\nPartner with Production and Engineering to identify recurring quality issues and support corrective action.\nMaintain accurate inspection, testing, and quality records.\nSupport continuous improvement efforts related to product quality, process control, and customer satisfaction.\nRequirements\nQualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or GED\nMinimum two (2) years working in manufacturing. Experience in a quality or leadership position (preferred).\nWorking proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.\nExpected to perform mathematical and statistical calculations. \nExperience with blueprint reading\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.
