This role establishes engineering standards, sets verification and validation strategies, and drives advanced design-for-robustness practices to ensure platform-level quality, performance, and long-term field reliability across our Marvel, U-Line, and Viking Refrigeration brands.\nThe Staff / Lead Engineer provides the highest level of technical leadership for refrigeration platform development, guiding architecture, reliability, supplier strategy, manufacturing integration, and cross-functional engineering decisions.\nPerks you can expect from us:\n A competitive benefits package including 401(k) matching\n Company provided life insurance, short and long-term disability insurance\n Paid time off at start\n Paid holidays\n Tuition reimbursement\n Employee referral program\nExpected Hours of Work:\nThis is a full-time position.\nPosition Overview:\nThe Staff / Lead Engineer provides the highest level of technical leadership for refrigeration platform development, guiding architecture, reliability, supplier strategy, manufacturing integration, and cross-functional engineering decisions from concept through production.\nResponsibilities:\n Establish multi-year platform architectures and technical roadmaps for refrigeration systems, with emphasis on performance efficiency, system robustness, lower-impact refrigerants, and simplified assembly.\n Author comprehensive system-level V&V strategies and oversee advanced testing matrices that stress components under extreme environmental conditions, such as high ambient temperatures and door-ajar moisture loading.\n Set standards for DFSS, DFM, DFA, DFMEA, and 3D tolerance stack-up processes.
