At U.S. Bank we're looking for people who want more than just a job - they want to make a difference in the communities where they live and work. \n* U.S. Bank is seeking an Application Developer Consultant with design and development experience to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives. In this role you will be part of the team established to configure and develop complex application systems using existing and emerging technology platforms, and consult with business users on requirements gathering, system design, configuration, and implementation. You'll be working closely with the Delivery Manager, IT development, and Architecture groups while collaborating with several lines of business. \n* As an Application Developer Consultant you will: \n* Guide the technical design and development of highly complex, cross-functional, multi-platform, application systems \n* Define and document the designs for applications and enhancements \n* Coordinate the definition of time tables and project tasks; estimates cost, and time \n* Create, review, and coordinate execution of unit test plans for multiple projects \n* Identify opportunities to improve testing process \n* Oversee the design, coding, testing, implementation, and documentation of solution \n* Develop high level program specifications \n* Ensure that expected application performance levels are achieved \n* Design, code, test, debug, document, maintain, and modify computer programs of high complexity, significance, and risk \n* Guide technical staff and clients to investigate, analyze, and resolve highly complex technical problems \n* Identify and facilitate interfaces, service levels, standards, and configurations \n* Analyze, define, and document design for data, workflow, logical processes, and operating system environment, interfaces with other systems, internal and external \n* Oversee monitoring of existing application systems operating efficiency \n* Identify opportunities for improvement and recommend technical solutions \n* Demonstrate deep understanding of the business needs driving projects \n* Become main point of contact for business lines at times \nBasic Qualifications \n- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience \n- Generally a minimum of eight years of experience \nPreferred Skills/Experience \n* Extensive experience in: \n* vendor evaluation \n* testing \n* testing \n* Subject matter expert in: \n* development life cycle \n* control \n* -IT standards, procedures, policy \n* design, architecture \n* testing \n* -Application maintenance \n* management \n* development tools \n* data, process, events, objects\n#LI-DNI\nIf there’s anything we can do to accommodate a disability during any portion of the application or hiring process, please refer to our disability accommodations for applicants.\nPosting may be closed earlier due to high volume of applicants.\nThis is an U.S. Bancorp India posting.
