In this role, you will be part of a team dedicated to enabling and supporting U.S. Bank's cloud adoption journey.\nThe team primarily focuses on developing reusable patterns, templates, and automation for cloud deployments, while also supporting the migration of on-premises systems to the cloud. Knowledge of cloud service providers such as Azure, AWS, and/or GCP, combined with experience in IAM or Information Security and a background in IT or security engineering, are key qualifications for this role.\nResponsibilities:\nDesign, implement, and support secure cloud infrastructure across Azure, AWS, and GCP environments.\nPartner with application, infrastructure, and security teams to drive cloud adoption and security best practices.\nDevelop and maintain reusable Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep, or Ansible.\nBuild automation and scripting solutions to enforce IAM governance, compliance, and security controls.\nEvaluate and enhance existing cloud architectures to improve security, scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency.\nDevelop and support CI/CD pipelines for Infrastructure as Code and Policy as Code implementations.\nAssess emerging cloud services and define secure implementation standards and reference architectures.\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex cloud security, identity, and infrastructure issues while driving continuous improvement. \nRequired Skills & Qualifications\n3+ years of experience managing and securing cloud environments in Azure, AWS, or GCP.\nHands-on experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep, Ansible, or similar IaC technologies.\nStrong scripting and automation skills using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or related languages.\nExperience developing and supporting CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and DevSecOps practices.\nKnowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM), authentication, authorization, and cloud security best practices.\nExperience with Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, Conditional Access, PIM, SSO, or AWS IAM Identity Center.\nFamiliarity with CyberArk, HashiCorp Vault, or other privileged access and secrets management solutions.\nExperience supporting Windows, Linux, containerized workloads, and cloud-native platforms with strong troubleshooting capabilities. \nExperience in one or more of the following areas is beneficial:\nAdministration and engineering of Microsoft Entra ID and related Microsoft cloud identity services, including Conditional Access, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), Microsoft Entra Connect, and Single Sign-On (SSO).\nAdministration of AWS IAM Identity Center.\nAdministration and engineering of Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS).\nAdministration of Windows- and Linux-based operating systems and containerized workloads.\nExperience with HashiCorp Vault, CyberArk, or other secrets management and privileged access management (PAM) solutions.\nExperience with database administration and access provisioning.\nLocation expectations:\nThis role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.\nIf there’s anything we can do to accommodate a disability during any portion of the application or hiring process, please refer to our disability accommodations for applicants.\nBenefits:\nOur approach to benefits and total rewards considers our team members’ whole selves and what may be needed to thrive in and outside work.
