Try new things, learn new skills and discover what you excel at-all from Day One.\nJob Description\nProcessing final, executed loan documents and booking requests received from the business line through Commercial Loan Workflow (CLW) or supporting systems. \nLoan terms, pricing, dates, and setup information are entered into the Automated Financial System (AFS) based on the executed documentation. \nRole Responsibilities:\nResponsible for accurately processing and boarding commercial loan transactions (including new loans, renewals, and amendments) into AFS within established SLAs by reviewing executed loan documentation, validating key loan terms (such as loan amount, maturity date, interest rate, payment structure, borrower information, and fees), and ensuring all system inputs align with legal documents.\nPerforming quality control reviews to identify and correct errors, distinguish between banker and processing errors, and support a 100% quality review process prior to downstream handoffs; maintaining compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards while ensuring complete and audit-ready documentation.\n Partnering with business line stakeholders and internal operations teams to resolve documentation gaps, discrepancies, and NIGO conditions; managing workflow intake and prioritization to meet productivity, quality, and turnaround expectations; and producing accurate loan setups, corrected transactions, and documented work packets that enable downstream servicing, collateral, and post-close processes. \nCompetencies:\nRequires strong attention to detail and accuracy to interpret complex loan documentation and ensure precise system data entry; working knowledge of commercial lending products, loan structures, and financial terms.\nAnalytical and problem-solving skills to identify discrepancies and resolve data or documentation issues; quality control discipline and risk awareness to meet audit, compliance, and regulatory standards; time management and productivity skills to prioritize workload and meet SLAs.\nEffective communication and collaboration skills to engage with business lines, operations partners, and downstream teams; technical proficiency in systems such as AFS, CLW, and document repositories; and accountability and ownership to ensure end-to-end completion of work with minimal downstream defects and full audit traceability\nSkills:\nMicrosoft Suite proficient.\nCommercial loan documentation knowledge, strong attention to detail and accuracy, risk awareness and control discipline, process and procedure adherence, productivity and time management, system proficiency, communication and collaboration skills, coachable.\nYrs of exp - 2- 3 yrs of relevant yrs\nShift Timing - 9 to 6 PM IST\nIf there’s anything we can do to accommodate a disability during any portion of the application or hiring process, please refer to our disability accommodations for applicants.\nPosting may be closed earlier due to high volume of applicants.\nThis is an U.S. Bancorp India posting.
