You will play a key role in expanding Elavon's Solution Engineering capability, driving technical excellence, and helping customers realize the full value of our products, platforms, and services.\nBeyond supporting strategic opportunities, you will help define the future of Solution Engineering across Europe through thought leadership, mentoring, and the development of scalable technical consulting practices. Working closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, Professional Services, and Integration teams, you will contribute to the evolution of Elavon's payment solutions while enabling business growth and exceptional customer outcomes.\nWhat You'll Do\nLead technical strategy for enterprise and strategic payment opportunities.\nDesign scalable payment and integration solutions for customers and partners.\nAct as a subject matter expert across acquiring, payment gateways, APIs, e-commerce, and omnichannel solutions.\nDeliver technical workshops, solution presentations, and executive briefings.\nSupport RFPs, customer bids, and complex solution design activities.\nPartner with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Professional Services teams to drive successful outcomes.\nMentor Solution Engineers and contribute to the growth of the European Solution Engineering practice.\nStay at the forefront of payment technology and industry trends.\nWhat We're Looking For\nExtensive experience within payments, acquiring, gateways, fintech, or payment technology.\nStrong understanding of payment ecosystems, transaction processing, APIs, and integration architectures.\nProven experience supporting enterprise customers and complex technical sales engagements.\nAbility to translate business requirements into practical and scalable technical solutions.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\nExperience presenting to technical and executive audiences.\nA passion for solving complex challenges and helping customers succeed.\nWhat Will Set You Apart\nExperience with payment gateways, e-commerce, and API-based integrations.\nKnowledge of PCI DSS, EMV, tokenization, and payment security principles.\nStrong solution architecture and consulting skills.\nExperience mentoring technical teams and influencing across matrix organisations.\nThis role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.\nAccessibility\nWe are committed to providing an inclusive and accessible recruitment experience.
