Try new things, learn new skills and discover what you excel at-all from Day One.\nJob Description\nThe Sr. Platform and Data Analyst is a key member of a technology-focused Center of Excellence (COE) responsible for supporting enterprise Salesforce and additional platform operations, data management, governance, security, and performance initiatives across U.S. Bank.\nThis role partners with business and technology stakeholders to ensure the integrity, quality, availability, and effectiveness of critical platform data while supporting enterprise-wide business objectives. Working within a highly collaborative and agile team environment, this individual will lead efforts related to data quality, data movement, platform optimization, reporting, issue resolution, and governance activities. The successful candidate will be comfortable balancing strategic initiatives with operational priorities and must be able to adapt quickly to changing business needs.\nThis role provides broad organizational exposure and supports multiple business functions across the enterprise. The individual will collaborate with business leaders, technology partners, data owners, and subject matter experts to deliver sustainable solutions that improve platform performance, data integrity, and operational efficiency.\nKey Responsibilities\nSupport the administration, optimization, and ongoing health of Salesforce platform data and related business processes.\nMonitor, analyze, and improve data quality, consistency, completeness, and integrity across platform environments.\nExecute and support data movement, data validation, data remediation, reconciliation, and testing activities using SQL or similar tools.\nParticipate in enterprise data governance initiatives by helping establish, maintain, and enforce data standards, controls, and best practices.\nPartner with business and technology teams to identify opportunities to improve data management processes and platform effectiveness.\nAnalyze data trends, platform performance metrics, and operational issues to identify root causes and recommend solutions.\nSupport platform security, compliance, and governance activities in partnership with technology and risk stakeholders.\nDevelop dashboards, reports, and executive-level presentations to communicate findings, insights, risks, and recommendations.\nLead and support projects and workstreams focused on platform enhancements, process improvements, and operational excellence.\nCollaborate closely with team members to provide cross-functional support and coverage across data, security, and platform performance responsibilities.\nRespond effectively to changing priorities, production incidents, and emerging business needs.\nEstablish strong working relationships with stakeholders across business and technology organizations.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.\nEight or more years of relevant experience in data analytics, platform administration, business systems, data governance, or related disciplines.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting Salesforce platforms, including data management, reporting, and platform optimization.\nKnowledge of enterprise data governance principles, data quality frameworks, and data stewardship practices.\nExperience with data movement, data integration, data validation, and remediation activities.\nIntermediate SQL skills with the ability to query, analyze, and validate large datasets.\nStrong skills in data analysis, data migration, and data governance.\nStrong understanding of data management lifecycle processes and controls.\nExperience working in cross-functional environments supporting multiple business lines.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.\nProven ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.\nExcellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.\nStrong project management and organizational skills.\nPrevious banking or financial services experience preferred.\nSalesforce certifications preferred.\nWhat Success Looks Like\nMaintains high levels of Salesforce platform data quality and integrity.\nContributes to enterprise data governance and compliance initiatives.\nPartners effectively with business and technology stakeholders to solve complex data challenges.\nDemonstrates flexibility and responsiveness when priorities shift.\nServes as a trusted resource for platform data, reporting, governance, and operational support.\nIf there’s anything we can do to accommodate a disability during any portion of the application or hiring process, please refer to our disability accommodations for applicants.\nBenefits:\nOur approach to benefits and total rewards considers our team members’ whole selves and what may be needed to thrive in and outside work. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role.
