Our unique approach to securitization combines the best minds in financial services with the know-how, flexibility, and innovation of leading technologists.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nJob Information\nThis role will report to the Sr. Director of Enterprise Risk Programs & Risk Intelligence to provide tactical execution of various ERM Programs and Risk Management Training Programs. The Associate role will assist the Sr. Director with managing Second Line of Defense (SLOD) risk governance function and annual ERM Plan development/documentation. The role will also participate in Operational Process mapping of key Issuance, Administration of MBS activities.\nThis role requires with demonstrated risk management experience in supporting cross-functional business areas and corporate stakeholders relative to effective and timely identification, analysis, remediation, management, and reporting of risk to various management levels and committees.\nA successful candidate will have a collaborative work ethic/style, strong communication/presentation (verbal and written) and negotiation skills, and demonstrated knowledge and experience in industry best practices and standards relative to Enterprise Risk Management and knowledge in multiple risk disciplines.\nKey Job Functions\nCollaboratively assist in the development, promoting, and tracking of ERM related projects and programs implementations, process mapping leveraging project management professional (PMP) methodologies and practices.\n\nAssist leadership in the planning, execution, tracking and reporting on ERM related programs, projects, and initiatives, with all impacted business and corporate stakeholders, to completion.\n\nDevelop project/program plans of action, including tasks/deliverables, milestones, and definitive timelines.\n\nParticipate in periodic meetings with impacted business/corporate stakeholders, and others to ensure accurate, comprehensive, and timely minutes, tracking and reporting on ERM tasks, issues and concerns relative to implementation of programs, initiatives, and projects, through to completion.\n\nEnsure records management of ERM programs is maintained.\n\nWork directly with front-line management up to and including Executives to assist with program, initiative and/or project statuses.\n\nEscalate material risks, issues, or challenges to ERM leadership, impacted stakeholders, and their management, as necessary, and coordinate timely awareness and resolution of impediments to keep initiatives on schedule.\n\nInteract with Internal Audit, Compliance, and FHFA regulators to ensure open communication and transparency.\n\nDevelop project management methodologies, metrics, reporting and systems, as appropriate, to quantify and accurately monitor progress.\n\nProvide quality assurance to reporting, artifacts and assertions.\n\nParter with the business to develop plans to mitigate risk and program performance issues.\n\nServe as a connection point and subject-matter expert between business units and Risk Management by fostering partnerships and collaborating as a risk liaison coordinator.\n\nCollaborate as an ambassador to champion ERM’ Risk Management plan and priorities through proactive education of and engagement with business units, across US Fintech.\n\nPerform gap and data analysis to address program gaps or deficiencies.\n\nAssess the needs of the organization or individuals for risk management training, including design, develop, and assist in the delivery of risk management training programs to meet those needs.\n\nEvaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements as necessary.\n\nCreate and distribute learning materials such as newsletters, presentations, and exercises.\n\nStay up-to-date with the latest developments in risk management.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\nEducation\nAt a minimum, a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year college or university.\nPreferred candidate will have obtained or in process of completing Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.\nPreferred candidate will have obtained or working towards Scrum Master Certification and be familiar with Agile process mapping practices\nMinimum Experience\nMinimum of 5 years' related work experience in Risk Management and/or Consulting.\n\nMinimum 3 years of related work experience in risk management programs or project management, hardware/software implementations, including Governance Risk and Control (GRC) tool implementations.\n\nMinimum of 2-3 years of demonstrated experience in process mapping or project management. (Agile environment and familiarity with methodology).\n\nApplicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring employer sponsorship currently or in the future. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
