safety and health policies.\n\nComplete MSHA, U.S. Silica, Columbia Plant, and all task training prior to performing daily job responsibilities.\n\nKeep all high-traffic areas clean and clear of trash, debris, tools, hoses, or other items.\n\nUse proper cleaning procedures for oil and other lubricant leaks and spills.\n\nFollow and maintain all applicable Environmental Compliance standards.\n\nPerform quality checks while operating equipment on a scheduled basis to maintain product specifications.\n\nMake adjustments to equipment as needed.\n\nInspect incoming trucks and railcars and determine if cleaning is required.\n\nWash out trucks or railcars when necessary.\n\nLoad trucks and railcars with the correct product.\n\nComplete the Data Collection Card with loading information for each railcar loaded.\n\nClean spills on or around trucks, railcars, and loading areas.\n\nPerform all duties in the Wet Process Machine Patrol checklist, including pump checks and reagent checks.\n\nClear machinery malfunctions and restart equipment as needed.\n\nConduct all in-process control tests in the wet process.\n\nCollect all in-process and finished product samples in the wet process.\n\nClean spills and wash down wet process areas as needed.\n\nPerform all duties in the Milling Machine Patrol checklist, including mill and separator checks and greasing and lubricating equipment.\n\nClear machinery malfunctions and restart equipment as needed.\n\nConduct all in-process control tests in milling.\n\nClean spills and wash down milling areas as needed.\n\nMaintain strong working relationships within the plant.\n\nMaintain supportive and respectful working relationships with all U.S. Silica employees and departments.\n\nMaintain professional relationships with contractors, vendors, truck drivers, and site visitors.\n\nPerform additional duties as assigned.\n\n High school diploma or general education diploma (GED) required.\n\nBasic computer skills.\n\nHigh level of safety and quality awareness.\n\nAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.\n\nAbility to work outdoors in all seasons.\n\nAbility to climb multi-level stairs and ladders and work from elevated platforms.\n\nAbility to use hand tools such as shovels, hammers, and wrenches.\n\nGood problem-solving skills.\n\nMine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) knowledge preferred.\n\nForklift experience preferred.\n\nComputer software experience preferred.\n\nWarehouse experience
