If you’re excited by the idea of blending digital communications, creative problem-solving, and hands-on project support in a dynamic research environment, this role offers the perfect opportunity to make an impact.\n Communications and Marketing 60%\nSupport the creation, implementation, and continual updating of the marketing and communication strategy for iSMART and Smartwear Revolution\nConceptualizes and develops integrated communications strategies, ideas, and opportunities.\nDevelops key messages and strategies to communicate complex information to multiple audiences and constituencies which align with the priorities and brand.\nRegular posting and organizing of social media posts for both iSMART and Smartwear Revolution\nLiaise with Faculty Communications Department for media events and opportunities\nSupport website construction & maintenance\nReporting on social media and website analytics\nEvent planning and executions\nCreation of presentations, pitches, and marketing collateral as required\nSupport creation of promotional materials\nCreation of multi-use slide deck to promote iSMART and Smartwear Revolution\nResearch and attend events to promote iSMART and Smartwear Revolution\nWebsite Design and Maintenance 30%\nMaintaining iSMART and Smartwear Revolution\nWebsite content updates, creation of new posts and pages, sharing news and events, add and removal of outdated pages\nAdministration 5%\nGeneral Administrative Support to Staff members of the iSMART and Smartwear Revolution\nTask Management (assignation, deadline creation, priority level)\nLab Tours Optimization\nEvent Planning\nPreparation and Administration of Surveys\nMeeting Minutes and Action Items\nFile Organization\nOther Administrative Duties as Required\nDocumentation 5%\nCreate, Review, Edit, and Format Project Documents (ie: templates, introduction packages, role descriptions)\n Bachelor’s degree; public relations, communications, marketing or some combination of related education and experience\nDemonstrated excellent communication skills required; presentation and pitching abilities preferred\nExperience with event planning and executions\nExperience with brand coordination and brand management\nExcellent interpersonal and organizational skills\nCompetent and efficient;
