Send us your resume and join a people-centric company with a reputation of excellence.\n The Distribution Center (DC) Operations Manager is responsible for driving operational excellence and achieving key performance objectives, including gross margin targets, FTE management, expense control, and customer service levels. This role leads the implementation of strategies, tools, and best practices to enhance efficiency and overall performance across the Distribution Center. The DC Operations Manager is also accountable for budget development, performance tracking, and reporting.\nThis position has oversight of our Distribution Center operations inCambridge, ON and Scarborough, ON, ensuring alignment with company objectives and operational excellence across both locations.\nSalary Range: $100,000 - $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.\nWe offer a competitive compensation package that includes a comprehensive benefits program, access to corporate discounts, and ongoing training and development opportunities to support your professional growth throughout your career.\nYour responsibilities:\nLead Distribution Center operations to achieve financial, operational, and customer service goals.\nImplement and monitor strategies, policies, and process improvements to enhance efficiency and performance.\nTrain, coach, and support Warehouse Managers and the Distribution Center Management team.\nPartner with the General Manager to set priorities, develop action plans, and support business cases for investments.\nOversee labor relations, including collective agreements and committee participation.\nManage carrier relationships and returns processes.\nParticipate as a member of the regional management committee.\n To join our team, you need:\nMinimum of 10 years of experience managing Distribution Center operations.\nProven track record of managing gross profit performance, with a strong understanding of financial statements and budgeting for large-scale operations.\nExperience in the automotive aftermarket industry is considered an asset.\nStrong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).\nUAP is a diverse community that promotes inclusion and respect.
