UASI is looking for a Networking and Security Administrator to join our team and support our growing technology environment.\nIn this role, you’ll work across network administration, cybersecurity, cloud resources, server maintenance, compliance, and end-user support. You’ll partner closely with our Network Administrator, CISO, and IT leadership while gaining hands-on exposure to a variety of technologies and security initiatives. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership of their work, and is motivated to continue growing their technical expertise.\n\nWhat You’ll Do\nConfigure and support network infrastructure and cloud resources in partnership with the Network Administrator and IT leadership.\nSupport organizational security, privacy, HIPAA compliance, and SOC 2 audit activities.\nPerform security and compliance audits and testing under the direction of the Network Administrator and CISO.\nConfigure and monitor Microsoft Entra, Purview, and Defender security policies and alerts, troubleshooting and remediating issues as needed.\nMonitor vulnerability and security platforms including Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike, and UpGuard.\nManage and configure the organization’s CrowdStrike Next-Gen SIEM.\nMonitor physical and virtual servers and respond to identified issues.\nPerform troubleshooting, maintenance, and updates for company workstations, servers, and virtual machines.\nRespond to Help Desk calls and support tickets during regular business hours and participate in an after-hours support rotation.\nAdminister users and groups within Active Directory and Exchange.\nDocument IT systems, configurations, and processes.\nManage monthly system maintenance activities and coordinate assignments across the team.\nProvide phone-based technology training to new users.\nSupport the installation and configuration of hardware and software across a multi-platform environment.\nFollow UASI policies regarding the appropriate use and disclosure of protected health information (PHI).\nWhat We’re Looking For\nWe’re looking for someone who combines strong technical skills with a service-oriented mindset. You should be comfortable troubleshooting independently while also collaborating with users and other members of the IT team.\nThe ideal candidate is:\nDetail-oriented, dependable, and highly organized.\nA strong problem solver who takes initiative and follows issues through to resolution.\nAble to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.\nComfortable assisting users with varying levels of technical knowledge.\nMotivated to learn new technologies and continue developing professionally.\nPositive, collaborative, and willing to jump in wherever needed.\nTechnical Experience\nExperience with Windows and Linux desktop and server operating systems.\nExperience with Active Directory, Microsoft 365/Office 365, Remote Desktop, and technical troubleshooting.\nIntermediate networking knowledge.\nHands-on experience supporting software and hardware within a multi-platform environment.\nExperience with cybersecurity, vulnerability management, cloud administration, or SIEM platforms is highly valuable.\nEducation & Qualifications\nMinimum 6 years of professional experience, plus a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent professional experience.\nCCNA or equivalent certification preferred.\n\nWhy UASI\nAt UASI, we believe investing in our people is key to our success.
