Candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain SC clearance\nSignificant hands-on experience designing, building and operating solutions within Amazon Web Services (AWS)\nStrong knowledge of AWS compute, networking, identity, security and container services\nStrong experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or GitHub\nDemonstrable expertise with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code at scale\nStrong understanding of Kubernetes architecture and operating containerised workloads in cloud environments\nGood understanding of DevSecOps, OWASP principles and security-by-design\nExperience designing and implementing monitoring, logging and observability solutions\nStrong scripting skills using Python, Bash, PowerShell or similar\nExperience making technical design decisions and providing engineering leadership within multidisciplinary teams\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across complex cloud environments\nConfidence working directly with clients and communicating technical concepts, decisions and recommendations\nExperience working within Agile delivery environments\nExperience supporting and mentoring other engineers\nDesirable\nAWS Professional-level certification, such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional or Solutions Architect - Professional\nStrong experience delivering solutions for public sector, defence or other regulated clients\nExperience working within secure environments and understanding the associated security and assurance requirements\nExperience contributing to technical designs, architecture decisions and engineering standards\nBenefits\nWhy people choose to grow their careers at UBDS Group\nProfessionals choose to grow their careers at UBDS Group for its reputation as a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation that is deeply committed to both innovation and employee development.
