The work is fast-paced, highly collaborative, and focused on delivering measurable business impact through automation, efficiency, and better user experience.\nWe are looking for a hands-on Automation Specialist / Power Platform Developer who can translate business needs into practical automation solutions and support delivery end-to-end. This role requires someone who is comfortable working through ambiguity, balancing technical execution with stakeholder communication, and supporting both build and production needs. The ideal candidate should be able to discuss real implementation experience, reason through solution design, and handle automation work with ownership and clarity.\nUber is not able to provide any visa sponsorships for this role, all candidates must already be legally authorized to work in the US.\nUber is not able to provide relocation assistance for this role, all candidates must be located in Phoenix, AZ (or willing to relocate on their own).\nWhat you’ll do\nGather requirements and translate business needs into automation solutions.\nBuild and support Power Apps, Power Automate Cloud Flows, Power Automate Desktop Flows, and Dataverse solutions.\nAssist with integrations, testing, and UAT coordination.\nSupport production issues, fixes, and enhancements.\nWork with stakeholders to clarify requirements and track progress.\nMaintain documentation, controls, and delivery quality.\nHelp with solution thinking, architecture discussions, and scaling support where needed.\nBasic Qualifications\n2+ years of experience in data analytics or a related technical field.\nStrong proficiency in SQL and experience with web-based query tools.\nHands-on experience with Python or R for statistical analysis and data manipulation.\nExperience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau or Power BI).\nProven stakeholder management skills and basic project management experience.\nHigh school diploma or equivalent experience.\nPreferred Qualifications\nHands-on experience with Power Platform, especially Power Apps and Power Automate.\nStrong experience building Power Apps applications from scratch.\nWorking knowledge of Dataverse, SharePoint, and integrations.\nExperience supporting UAT and production environments.\nStrong stakeholder communication and follow-through.\nAbility to explain technical decisions and troubleshoot issues at a practical level.\nComfort working on automation delivery from requirement to support.\nExposure to RPA or automation support.\nExperience with Power Automate Desktop and attended or unattended automation.\nExperience handling production incidents, enhancements, and deployment support.\nAbility to support both build and business-facing coordination tasks.\nExperience working in fast-moving, high-ambiguity environments where ownership and adaptability matter.\nFamiliarity with custom connectors, Golang and React, APIs, JavaScript, Python, or AI Builder.\n For Phoenix, AZ-based roles: The base hourly rate amount for this role is USD $32.60 per hour.\nYou will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered other types of comp.
