We are primarily looking to staff our overnight team which is 10pm-7am.\nWhat You Will Do\nProvide real-time intervention using camera and sensor feeds to support AV operations\nGuide vehicles through edge-case scenarios (e.g., road closures, obstructions, unusual traffic behavior)\nExercise judgment in situations without clearly defined procedures\nHandle escalations and high-complexity incidents as part of core responsibilities\nDocument incidents and provide detailed reports for downstream teams\nCommunicate with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve issues\nIdentify recurring issues and contribute to root cause analysis\nBasic Qualifications\nAbility to work shift schedules, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts\nAbility to pass required certification training\nUnderstanding of U.S. traffic laws\nAt least 1 year of experience in operations, technical support, product testing, or similar roles\nMust possess and maintain a valid driver’s license* issued by a U.S. state or territory, if assigned duties that require licensed-driver judgment or if a license is legally or operationally required for the assigned work.\nPreferred Qualifications\nStrong judgment and decision-making skills\nAbility to maintain strong decision-making and focus during critical real-time operational incide\n For Phoenix, AZ-based roles: The base hourly rate amount for this role is USD $25.90 per hour.\nYou will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered other types of comp.
