The team is responsible for functions like planning and on-time delivery of customer freight while controlling costs and providing excellent customer communication. The ideal candidate can use statistical data to drive efficiency as well as use root cause analysis tools to improve business processes and exceed customer expectations. This associate manager will work closely with stakeholders in the US and/or Canada. Cross-cultural collaboration is a must for manager and team members. \nWhat the Candidate Will Do\nSupervise day-to-day activities of team members \nSchedule staff and distribute workload - work closely with US and/or Canadian stakeholders to meet business requirements \nAssociate managers may need to cover work for their team members and may have 30% of time dedicated to production responsibilities \nEnsure team members meet daily goals and monitor individual and team performance \nDevelop, implement and maintain effective processes \nProactively generate and share ideas that lead to process efficiency and customer experience improvement \nDevelop and distribute customer and internal performance management reports \nDevelop strong relationships across organization\nDevelop team members by providing training opportunities, projects, mentoring and coaching \nCreate and maintain strong team culture in line with Uber Freight values and behaviors \nBasic Qualifications\nAdvanced English, verbal and written\n3 years of LOGISTICS (transportation management, brokerage, warehouse, supply chain, etc.) experience WITH increasing level of responsibility.\nPreferred Qualifications\nAbility to anticipate and resolve problems using root cause analysis to prevent recurrence. \nAbility to establish priorities, work independently and proceed with objectives without supervision. \nExcellent people skills, communication, and organizational skills. \nAbout Uber Freight \nUber Freight helps companies move goods more reliably and efficiently.
