The Associate Manager should provide consistent and professional communications with external and internal Customers to build strong relations and develop productive Carrier relationships. This position will be a people manager, responsible for leading and coaching to achieve and exceed specific department goals.\nWhat the Candidate Will Do\nAssure that essential warehouse processes are executed accurately \nPro-actively identify and communicate issues, propose, and implement solutions for continuous improvement regarding processes, cost, service, and profitability \nConflict resolution and problem solving \nDevelop and distribute customer reports and internal performance management reports \nMonitor and hold team accountable for all key job functions \nAssure maintenance to the facility, develop, and manage external providers to maintain facility on good conditions and safe \nImplementation and control of all safety and security conditions normed \nDeliver cost savings / cost containment to customer and/or Uber Freight \nEnsure appropriate use of internal high-service, fair and cost competitive services to achieve internal department goals\nBasic Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or GED equivalent\nMinimum 2 years of related experience\nPreferred Qualifications\nWarehousing, Imports-Exports Industry experience \nKnowledge in Customs regulations and operations, CTPAT regulations, and Warehouse Management \nAdvanced Spanish and English communication skills \nPeople management skills \nAdvanced computer skills including Google Suite\nBenefits & Compensation for U.S. Employees\nEmployees working more than 30 hours in the US at Uber Freight are eligible for benefits like a company sponsored health plan, dental and vision benefits, 401k match, financial and mental wellness benefits, parental leave, short- and long-term disability coverage, life insurance and more.
