You will be eligible to earn a monthly bonus, in addition to your base salary, in your first full calendar month and enjoy working in a fast-paced, sales environment.\nWhat the Candidate Will Do\nEstablish relationships, negotiate, and develop carriers regularly via phone and email in order to develop specialized and dedicated carriers\nEngage and build relationships with carriers across dry van, reefer, hazmat, tanker endorsed, and flatbed freight specific to Uber Freight specialized services.\nEnsure customer satisfaction and high service levels where freight is picked up and delivered on time using safe, reliable carriers\nMeet or exceed team financial and individual performance goals\nDevelop knowledge of carrier supply and demand, spot market pricing, and factors that impact freight markets\nCarrier profile management- learn carrier requirements, needs, contacts and update carrier profiles regularly. Be an advocate for the carrier on all levels\nAcquire knowledge of freight network/lanes- know what internal freight lanes we run and find carriers that match these lanes\nBasic Qualifications\nMinimum of 1-2+ years of professional experience in a sales/cold call setting or related experience\nPreferred Qualifications\nTrack and trace experience\nExperienced booking carriers for Hazmat, Tanker Endorsed, and flatbed freight\nBachelor’s degree preferred\nExcellent negotiation and communication skills\nProficient in Microsoft Office Suite\nBenefits & Compensation for U.S. Employees\nEmployees working more than 30 hours in the US at Uber Freight are eligible for benefits like a company sponsored health plan, dental and vision benefits, 401k match, financial and mental wellness benefits, parental leave, short- and long-term disability coverage, life insurance and more.
