Following completion of the internship, participants may be considered for a full-time opportunity.\nWhat the Candidate Will Do\nResponsible for consolidating slides for the monthly financial operating review and obtaining commentary from the stakeholders.\n\nCommunicate and work with responsible parties to resolve open items. Tieout data on charts for accuracy.\n\nAssist Business Partners including but not limited to Sales, Operations, and Finance.\n\nSpend time with each FinOps Team learning their unique functions and responsibilities: Billing, Collections, Cash Applications, Audits and accounts payables.\n\nAdhere to any finance policies and procedures and actively seek out opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies.\n\nOther responsibilities include but are not limited to, participation in special projects, system enhancements, and ad hoc analysis as assigned.\n\nParticipate in all other Uber Freight Intern meetings, seminars, learning opportunities, and capstone project.\n\nBasic Qualifications\nActively pursuing a Bachelors in Finance, Accounting, or Marketing related fields\n\nExpected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028\n\nAbility to work in Rogers, AR or Chicago, IL \n\nAbility to work full-time, 40 hours, between June 7, 2027 - August 13, 2027 \n\nPreferred Qualifications\nStrong Excel skills and comfort working with large data volume\n\nKnowledge and understanding of accounting principles and terminology\n\nAble to work with multiple systems to research discrepancies in tight deadlines\n\nComfortable communicating and working with business partners on issues of resolution and special projects\n\nAble to work under time pressure, prioritize workload and meet deadlines\n\nProven ability to succeed in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment\n\nPositive attitude and flexible, especially in theperiod of month/year-end closing and audit\n\nBenefits & Compensation for U.S. Employees\nEmployees working more than 30 hours in the US at Uber Freight are eligible for benefits like a company sponsored health plan, dental and vision benefits, 401k match, financial and mental wellness benefits, parental leave, short- and long-term disability coverage, life insurance and more.
